It was a clear and beautiful day, the sky blue with barely any clouds. It was the perfect day for a wedding. The bells of a Christian church rang as the outside and inside became full of people.

The chapel had a soft pearl color, and it wasn't particularly large, only having two floors. The bells hanged from a tall tower, a cross raised on top of it. The three doors at the front were wide open, allowing the guests to enter. Half of those were young teenagers still wearing their school uniforms with short sleeves and vests due to the warm climate as they had rushed from class just to be there. The other half were the adults, the friends and family of the couple.

Between the students, the four childhood friends, one of them in the form of a child, greeted a couple of other teens they recognized. After all, all the students present had gone to the same Junior High and received classes from the lucky bride, Matsumoto Sayuri Sensei.

Other than Shinichi, all her students adored the woman which is why they had taken the time to come here after school rather than rushing home or to have fun.

While outside, the three girls couldn't help but reminisce about their former teacher. Matsumoto Sensei was in actuality a really beautiful woman with chestnut wavy hair and small blue eyes which were usually covered with glasses.

As pretty as she was, to Shinichi, the woman was no different from a terrible devil who tortured him throughout his three years of Junior High. The only reason he wanted to come was simply to see what poor and crazy idiot would dare to marry her.

"Matsumoto Sensei, huh? We haven't seen her since we graduated." Ran felt the opposite, her smile brightening at the very thought of their former teacher.

For [Name], it was hard to explain exactly how she felt. She had no interest in music and singing classes, but at the same time, she couldn't deny that it was a lot of fun. Mainly due to the fact that it was hard to see that idiot nerd so flustered. "It hasn't been that long, but it feels like it was forever ago when we last saw Sensei."

"We might be able to hear her beautiful singing again at the reception." Sonoko also smiled, sighing as she recalled that ethereal voice, "Oh, yeah, where is he?"

"He?"

"You know, the guy who was never in tune during music class and always got in trouble during her music class." At Sonoko's blunt reminder, the other two sweatdropped.

There really was only one person who was in their class and fit that description perfectly. Lips twitching, [Name] said, "Oh, Shinichi... When we talked on the phone, he said there was no way he'd come. Not even if he died."

"So, instead of that tone-deaf guy, you brought the kid?" Sonoko pointed at the little figure beside them. She had never particularly liked this annoying brat who attracted trouble everywhere.

"Well, he said he wanted to come since he had never gone to a wedding before." muttered [Name].

Neither of the others noticing his glare accompanied by a deep blush, It's not my fault I'm tone-deaf... Heh. I just want to see what kind of weirdo would marry that hag. For three years, she always picked on me and terrorized me!

Oblivious of the inner anger Conan was suppressing, the girls headed to the second floor of the chapel to meet Matsumoto Sensei before the wedding ceremony.

Once they opened the door of the waiting room, they found the teacher standing by the window on her wedding dress, three older women helping her with the final arrangements.

The pure white dress fell beautifully on her body, the wide skirt reaching the floor. The bateau neckline in the form of a V revealed her pale shoulders, a yellow rose in the center. Matsumoto Sensei also wore long gloves, the same color as her dress, which nearly reached the sleeves. Her chestnut hair was tied up in a simple bun, her bangs brushed to the right side. As for the long, nearly transparent veil, it was held with a row of yellow roses.
