Several hours passed and Erin still had not woken up, it was almost supper time and the three boys were in their room. Blaise was doing his work in astrology while Draco was reading a book about quidditch since they had a game this weekend. The blonde boy was particularly excited about this game, they will not only be battling the Gryffindors, but his father will also be attending the match.
Theodore on the other hand was starting to worry for their friend, "I think we should wake her up." he said making the other two boys look up. "No, she's tired let her sleep." Draco said "She's been asleep for hours now! Besides, the last time she ate was yesterday's lunch. We should wake her up." Theodore pointed out that the girl was already fasting for a day and a half!
"He does have a point," commented Blaise. Before anyone could speak again they heard shuffling and a creek on the step outside their door. The three gave each other knowing looks and approached the door looking out through the small gap by its side. There they saw Timothy Riddle standing outside Erin's door, and the boy looked as if he was holding something, but the three boys were unsure as to what.
The door of Erin's room swung open revealing herself looking as if she had just woken up. Her hair was a bit disheveled and there were marks on her face from her deep slumber. "Oh, hello Timothy," Erin said politely. "Here, I bought you down supper so you wouldn't have to climb up the stairs. Also, Hermione wanted to give you these notes she also said that your charms class will have a quiz next week." Timothy said, "So, where did you want me to put these? They're quite heavy." The boy added.
"Oh, there at the table will be fine," she said and opened the door wider so Timothy could enter. The young Riddle set down the heavy platter of food he bought for the girl alongside the notes. When he set it down, he tucked his hands in the pockets of his robes and momentarily looked around the Girl's room.
He noticed that she had the same canopy bed, the same wardrobe, and rug as the other rooms but the only differences were that Erin had her own study table and the absence of roommates. "So why don't you share a room with the other girls?" Timothy asked. "Draco apparently asked his father if he could also get me a separate room since I was uncomfortable sharing a room with other girls." she explained and Timothy nodded, "Must be nice to still have a father." the boy said.
Erin's eyes widened and the girl froze not knowing what to say, she must admit she felt very uncomfortable when she or others talk about feelings. That's why she had been struggling these past few days when trying to hide her emotions. The boy must've sensed the awkward shift in the air he cleared his throat. "Uh, I better go. Eat up, I'll see you tomorrow." Timothy said and hurriedly left her room closing the door as he exited.
"Did you hear what they talked about?" Blaise asked and the two boys shook their heads. "Let's go, she's awake now," Draco said and opened the door and walked up to Erin's door and knocked on it. Shortly the girl opened it but it looked like she was chewing something. The three turned to her table and saw a huge platter of food and scrolls of parchment. "Where did you get those?" Draco asked and pointed to the items on her desk.
The girl first swallowed then answered "Oh, Timothy bought it down," the three boys acted surprised as if they did not spy on the two a mere moments ago. "So, I think the four of us need to talk," Theodore said and closed the door of Erin's room. "Talk about what?" Erin asked and popped a chip in her mouth.
Theodore looked at the two boys at first who both looked hesitant but nudge him to continue. "We, have noticed that you've been acting... different." Theodore slowly said. Erin drew a sharp breath making the three boys tense, "Is she angry? Is she going to cry? Does she hate us?" the three internally thought. Erin sighed and sat down on her bed.
