Overrated (Remade)

Chapter 18

"So lee. How's your injury healing up?" Tenten asked as she took a sip from the Energy drink. As her job took up a lot of her time and patience, she found the only thing to keep her going was a strong energy drink every afternoon or morning  

   "Good actually! I'm excited to go back onstage though! I'm really looking forward to it"

Tenten smiled. "well since your next performance is out of town- what will you tell Gaara?"

Gosh! Lee hadn't even thought of what'd he tell Gaara. He didn't want to hurt him or make him feel alone while he was gone.

   "I was thinking of asking him to go with us"

Tenten laughed. "knew it" she set her drink down and put her hands over her head.

   "What does that mean" lee asked whilst his head was turned to the side and his eyes staring at Tenten with a questioning gaze.

   "It means you and Gaara are in love!  It's so obvious" Neji mumbled picking at his nail. 

  "AH- You- you really think so?" lee sighed happily. He didn't think he would ever find someone like Gaara who didn't even know his name or how popular he was. He did though and he was very happy he did so.

   "Yes lee! Gaara is so into you! And I can tell your just as much into him as he is you!"

Lee's face turned red. It was true but of course it was hard for him to admit that.

   "Lee- there you are" Gaara came walking up to Lee. A water bottle in his right hand and his other hand balled up into a fist.

He kneeled down to lee's level and handed him his medicine. "you almost forgot to take this"

Lee smiled and thanked Gaara profusley for reminding him which made Neji Gag and Tenten proud of her best friend.

She never thought that Temari's little brother and her best friend would be into eachother. It was an odd pair that's for sure, but they sure seemed to get along. No wonder they ended up falling for eachother.

Lee helped Gaara and Gaara helped lee in the places they were lacking help. 

   Gaara sat next to lee on the gray couch watching him take his pill as if a mother was watching her child eat a whole grape. 

  "Done!" Lee smiled and set the water bottle down.

  "How is your leg feeling?" Gaara asked placing a hand on the cast covered leg.

   "Oh- ha- it's feeling a lot better thanks to you!" Lee smiled nervously with a red face.

  Gaara gave lee a soft smile. It melted him. "that's good Lee"

Lee nodded excitingly. "oh Gaara- I have somthing very important to ask of you!"

   "What is it"

  "So soon- when my injurys heal- I have to go out of town for a performance. Would you like to come?"

    Gaaras' face lit up and he gave lee his soft smile again. "of course lee"

   "That's great! I'm so happy you agreed- I do not really know what I would have done If you had not of said yes"

   "Well I said yes so you don't have to worry about it"

   "That is true!"
