lee sat akwardly next to Gaara. He was a grown man and yet he was acting like a middle school boy.

"So Gaara, I feel like I don't ask you many questions"

Gaara looked at ele carefully. "you don't?"

Lee flushed. "sorry- I'm very talkative! Especially since it's the only thing that distracts me from...." Lee paused looking down at his leg.

Gaara frowned. "no. You can ask me questions. I don't mind"

Lee bursted into a ball of sunshine. An awful strange reaction for just having being so down about his leg.

"Okay! Uh thank you!" Lee smiled before looking quite puzzled. "so first question would be- your favorite color!" Lee felt bad, like maybe he'd asked that question a million times.

"Brown...or red" gaara shrugged. "I don't know. I never really thought about it like that"

"Like what?"

"Like... Faviortes"

Lee turned red. He was being...not like himself. "Yes sorry- I guess me neither"

Gaara played with his hands. "this a bit akward."

"It is" lee nodded.

Maybe it was just the fact that lee and Gaara were now officially dating. Lee felt bad about the way things had to be. He had hoped to be more extravagant. Gaara said he perferd less extravagant things but lee still felt an ache in his heart for not being able to do so.

He wanted Gaara to be happy. Somthing he hadn't thought Gaara had felt much in his life. He was almost determined. He felt like he'd give up all his previous goals to make this one person happy. It wasn't an usual statement for lee, he never meant it literally but this time he thought he actually did.

"Gaara I am in love with you"

"H- what?" The red head looked up at lee. This time it was his turn to turn a bright red.

"I am very much in love with you and with all the truth in my heart I'd give up everything to make you happy"

"I- I" gaara stuttered. He couldn't find the right words to put into play. He just nodded his eyes wide.

"So...I want to do anything I can to make you happy!"

And he did.
