Chapter 15

"Ey , Bro you okay?"

Gaara sighed looking away. He wasn't sure how to tell Kankuro that he and lee planned on going out on a date after he recovered.

"Yeah.." Gaara mumbled.

Kankuro groaned. "no- what's going on? Everytime someone mentions Lee you start getting all weird about it- what'd he do to you??!"

Gaara looked at Kankuro with a fed up look. "nothing! He did nothing-"

"Then why are you acting like that!!?"

Kiba, who was playing some console game, rolled his eyes at the fight. He was used to these kinds of things. So it didn't bother him as much as it would to some.

"Me and Lee are going on a date when he recovers!" Gaara blurted out, yet immediately regretted it.

"Wait- what the h- you and-..."

Gaara nodded. Kankuros face split into a face of laughter and confusion.

"How the hell did you get him??? I know we all forget he's famous somtimes but- seriously"

"What do you mean by that?" Gaara crossed his arms in defense.

"It's just- Lee's a super famous dude and whatever and your a super not famous guy " kankuro said looking at the Tv and snickering when he purposefully made Kiba Lose.

Kiba gave him a death stare behind his back whole Kankuro continued talking.

"Well he asked me first."

Kankuro laughed even more. "well that idiot better treat my little brother right or he's dead!"

"Don't hurt Lee" gaara sighed.

Kankuro shrugged. "well Temari told me he gets released next week on Wednesday. He gets admitted back uhhhhhh- Kiba! What day does Lee go back to the hospital? I forgot"

"How'd the hell you forget. Temari just told us like- an hour ago?"

Kankuro shrugged.

"He leaves next week on Wednesday. Once he gets his results after he's released he goes back to plan whatever needs to happen or some shit"

Gaara seemed a bit hopeful. It was Saturday as of now. So it'd only be a few more days before Lee was released.

"Well look at that Gaara. Seems like you can have your guys date sooner then expected, huh?"

Gaara nodded slightly. The whole thing still seeking slightly like a dream.

He had eventually left his Brothers house. The smell of dog becoming too overwhelming.

When he got back to his sister's house he casually told her about that date. She didn't take it so 'casually' though. She immediately wanted to post it somewhere. Gaara assured her that eventually it would get out on some newsbreak app. She agreed hesitantly and sighed.

"You know. I'm happy for you two! You guys have been flirting around eachother for ever since you met!"

Gaara, looking very flushed, disagreed with her. "no we haven't."

"Can't you just admit it now since you guys are already going on a date?"

"Were not dating Temari. Just a date."

Temari shrugged. "so?"

Gaara sighed. "just forget it."

-Wensday: Lee's Hospital release-

"Gaara-! I can't thank you enough for coming to help me today" lee smiled. His cuts and bruises were healing, which made Gaara happy.

"It's not a problem Lee"

Gaara had went to Lee's house for the time he was out of the hospital. He was pretty much not able to even stand or hold things properly. Everyone had agreed Gaara should be the one to help Lee out this week. They sent him off with smirks on there faces.

"Ah- I know you do not think so- but it still to me seems like such a a sacrifice to waste a few days here with me" Lee laughed breathlessly. He was still in pain which made Gaara worry.

"It's not a sacrifice- I wasn't busy anyways and plus... I have to pay you back for being so patient with me"

Lee turned light red. "oh ahah- yeah!"

In all honesty lee had been looking forward to seeing Gaara again ever since Gaara left the hospital. He counted down the days and even slept as much as possible to pass the time.

"Lee- I've never asked you this before but since I'm going to be helping you out from now on- what's your favorite food and rules of the house?"

Despite lee being famous his house was small. A two bedroom house with a single bathroom. The living room wasn't very big and neither was the kitchen. Lee had apologized for it being so small. He had said he didn't really spend much time in his house. So size didn't matter.

It made Gaara sad beacause lee should get to spend a lot of time in his house. Maybe that's just lee's personality though.

"There are no rules- do whatever you please and also- I like Curry a lot- medium spicy!" Lee smiled at Gaara which he got a half smile in return.

"Least favorite foods?"

Lee laughed. "I don't have any!"

Gaara looked at lee a bit confused. "none?"

Lee shook his head. "All foods taste fine to me! I hate wasting - so I just eat it untill I like it eventually- which has led me to like all foods!"

Gaara was a bit confused by the notice Lee was trying to get to but he gave up when he relized lee had no real motive behind it. Lee was just a hyper active, happy-go-lucky, idol. That gaara somehow ended up adoring.

"You know- news apps are going insane with the news of your injury" gaara said while sitting on the floor next to lee's couch.

"I assumed as much"

Gaara looked at lee. He seemed a bit down.
