Chapter 11

All three of us walked into the house Mason following my every step. We walked into the dinning room where everyone was sat. I followed Rebecca to my seat and watched closely as the girl from earlier walked straight up to Mason. I just rolled my eyes and sat down not taking my eyes off of them I used my werewolf hearing to hear what they were talking about. "Mason baby, I'm so sorry about earlier I went a little crazy, but I'm glad you came to your senses and came back to me" I scoffed as I heard her dumb voice. "Whatever" Mason said looking over at me I looked away and noticed almost every unmated male was staring at me like I was a piece of meat.

I heard a faint growl come from Mason and when I looked over I noticed he was staring at every unmated male with a look that could kill. I just tried my best not to focus on Mason and no sooner than I did the heat returned like a fire in my core. "You okay sis?" Travis asked breaking me out of my thoughts "I'm good, just trying not to focus on my body being on fire" I laughed as I talked to my brother. "Hey who's that girl that works with you in the barn? She's kinda hot" he said looking over at Rebecca who was talking to another unmated male. Of course that male was sneaking glances at me at one point, he even winked at me before returning to his conversation with Rebecca.

"Oh don't start, Rebecca is way too good for you and I'm not letting you ruin her" I replied shoving his shoulder. I tried not to, but I looked over at Mason, the girl was still hanging off of his shoulder. Mason was just staring at all the guys staring at me. I could see his arms were flexed and his jaw was clenched tight. Randy rang the bell and dinner was served I silently ate my food trying my best not to stare at Mason. Once I finished dinner I stood up and grabbed my plate and looked over at Mason who's eyes were solely on me. As I walked towards the door that lead to the kitchen he didn't move a muscle. I just walked into the kitchen and cleaned my plate after I put my dishes away I went up to my suite. I fed Roxy then grabbed her leash and harness before changing into my running shoes.

I took Roxy downstairs and took her for a short run before heading back upstairs. I let Roxy drink some water before I gave her a toy to play with as I went to go change. I changed into some night shorts and a crop top after I was dressed I went into the bathroom to brush my hair and teeth. I went to go lay in my bed, but the heat in my body made it almost impossible for me to fall asleep. Finally having enough I decided to go downstairs to get some water hoping it would cool my body down.

I heard a noise coming from the living room and quickly put my guard up to go look at what the noise was. As soon as I opened the door I came face to face with Mason. He was only wearing a pair of basketball shorts his hair was perfectly messed up and his eyes were very sleepy. Once he noticed it was me his eyes flashed with an emotion that I had never seen in his eyes. It was gone as quickly as it came "We meet again little wolf" he said seductively as he leaned closer to me. "We have got to stop meeting like this" he said his voice going deep leaving me speechless with how close we were to each other. "We really should" I giggled as I took a step back to create some space between us, but Mason instantly stepped forward. "I didn't mean for you to move away from me" he said putting both of his hands on my waist the fire in my body instantly subsiding almost as if he had the magic touch.

"You like it when I do that?" he asked the sexiness of his voice making my knees weak. "Uh-huh" I replied biting my lip, he moved his hands up to the small of my back and pulled me flush against his chest. "That lip deserves to be bit by me and only me" he said leaning in slowly, I closed my eyes waiting for our lips to make contact. He reached his hand up to cup my cheek and softly pressed his lips against mine the fire in my body completely subsided and my body exploded with tingles. Our lips moved perfectly in sync as Mason slowly slipped his tongue in between my parted lips.

The kiss was magical and I couldn't get enough of the taste of his kiss against my lips. "Mate" I heard Aphrodite's voice in the back of my head as Mason wrapped his arms around me. I smiled against his lips as he continued to kiss me passionately. He slowly pulled away and pressed his forehead against mine as I struggled to catch my breath. My wolf hasn't talked to me since he left, to hear her voice especially her telling me that we've found our mate makes me totally speechless. It's so hard to describe the way I feel right now "I've been waiting to do that since the moment I saw you" Mason's deep, husky voice making me tremble.
