Chapter 32

I took a single step closer to her and took a big whiff of her scent and was taken aback when I smelt a hint of Travis' scent. "No" I gasped as my brain registered who her mysterious mate is, she smiled up at me nervously as the news sunk in. "Your mate is my brother" I screeched as I finally let it hit me. "Yes" she said with a sigh as her shoulders sank "I'm sorry I should've told you" she said sadly making me stare back at her my shock turning into confusion. "Why are you sorry? We're practically sisters now" I said with a smile and she smiled warmly at me. "Really you're okay with this" she asked for reassurance that I'm okay with her and my brother being mated.

"Of course you're one of my best friends Rebecca" I said as I brought her back in for another hug. "I'm so glad I thought you would hate me" she said with a sigh of relief. "Of course I wouldn't hate you, you're perfect for Travis" I said as I pulled away and smiled at her and she smiled back at me. "Thank god, I can finally have that weight lifted off of my shoulders" she said as we both walked into the living room and sat on the love seat. My mom, Lacey, Celeste, and Rachel sat on the big couch as the boys dropped off everyone's bags at their designated rooms.

"So ladies how is everyone this fine evening" I said trying to ease the awkward silence in the room. "Would be better if I didn't have to uproot the whole pack" Celeste said with a sigh. "Trust me it's gonna be an adjustment for all of us" I said reassuring her with a smile. "This is what we signed up for when we started an all out war with William" my mom added as Rachel squeezed her hand. "This all comes with being Alpha and Beta couples to a pack, you have to do what's best whether it be convenient or not" Rachel added on as a refresher for all of the women in the room.

"Now what are we supposed to do" Rebecca finally spoke up beside me and everyone turned to face her. "We just hope the men come up with a good plan of action and of course add in our suggestions along the way" my mom said looking at each one of us. "I know you ladies are all young and everyone is learning their roles still, but this is going to be apart of your growth as leaders" Rachel said giving us all a reassuring smile.

"But no matter what you will always have each other to help with the growing pains of being a woman in power" my mom said as she smiled at Rachel knowing they both had to go through the same thing. "And of course we will be here to offer our expert opinions when asked for them, I remember how it was when I first became Luna, my goodness" Rachel added making us all laugh. "What's going on in here" Mason said as him and the rest of the men filtered into the living room. "Just girl talk" I said making the rest of the women snicker "Okay" he said not believing a word I just said.

"Well we will be in the conference room probably for the rest of the night coming up with a plan to stop William" Mason said crossing his muscular arms over his broad chest making my mouth water in need for him. "Okay well I made coffee" I said cheerily after clearing my throat "Thanks babe" he said coming towards me to plant a sweet kiss on my lips. "We will be in here coming up with a plan on where everyone will be staying while we work all of this out" I said squeezing his hand as he turned to walk back down the long hallway to the conference room. I watched his back as he disappeared around the corner.

I turned my attention back to the others in the room as I watched each significant other say goodbye to their mate with a kiss. "So ladies what do y'all want to do" I said after all the men left with their coffees and snacks. "Well I would like to go to sleep, but lord knows that won't happen since we have all of this drama going on" my mom replied with an exasperated sigh. "I'm sorry mom" I said reassuringly "I'm gonna go change real quick since we weren't really expecting guests" Lacey said getting up from the couch.

"Don't worry sweetie I'll be fine, been through a few sleepless nights in my day as a Luna" she said as Lacey closed their bedroom door. "I'm gonna go get changed too my pjs aren't really meant for entertaining guests" I giggled walking towards mine and Mason's bedroom. I quickly put my clothes back on adding a bra to my ensemble before heading back out into the living room. Everyone had dispersed I guess also following mine and Lacey's lead. I sat back down on the loveseat and waited with Lacey starting another round of Uno as one by one all the women filed back into the room wearing comfy clothes.
