I had Rose drive me home since Mason was obviously still upset about everything with his dad. "My brother has always been that way with my dad he wants my dad to see him as a strong leader he's never let my dad see the soft side of him" she said on our long journey back to the pack house. "It's gonna destroy him one day I just don't understand why my dad makes him feel like he has to be an asshole to be a good leader" she said shaking her head. "It's like I explained to your mom it's a power struggle when two Alpha's are in the same room each of them try to over power the other into submitting one day the other Alpha has to push the other one out of the way" I said with as little emotion as possible. I continued to hold back my tears as Rose took in my words "One day it's gonna tear this family apart" she said gripping the steering wheel harder.

I turned my head to look at her tears were welling up in her eyes "Look I get that your dad is super hard on your brother and your brother is trying to push him back, but trust me one day things will get better" I said thinking back to the power struggle between my dad and my brother before he assumed the title. "How can you be so sure?" Rose questioned with a little bit of disbelief in her voice. "Because I've watched it happen" I said as my tears couldn't be held back any longer "My dad and my brother were at each other's throats all the time". "I remember it like it was yesterday the fighting, the yelling, and even the injuries my brother sustained from having to train with my father everyday to become Alpha. My dad broke his nose, ribs, and he even broke my brothers leg, but in the end my brother finally beat my dad in a gruesome training match" I said playing with my finger nails. "That day my brother broke my dads jaw and my father finally accepted him as the new Alpha. It took them both nearly killing each other for my dad to finally back down" I said as I wiped my tears and looked over at Rose.

"That sounds awful I couldn't imagine my brother and dad fighting like that" she said shaking her head and focusing back on the road. "Sometimes that is what it boils down to and I know how you feel, but it might be the best option for your dad and Mason" I said turning my attention to the road as well. Rose slammed on the breaks and the truck came to an abrupt stop "Are you crazy? My dad and Mason fighting it out would end in one of them dead and I don't know about you, but I'd rather not lose a family member over something like this" she practically yelled at me.

"You have to admit that it has to be an option that risk might be the only thing that can save the both of them from destruction" I said and leaned back in my seat. "Just because your dad and brother did it doesn't mean it's gonna work for us okay, you don't know anything about my family" she said disgust clear in her voice. "Listen I grew up with boys and trust me with men they're not any different sometimes they just have to fight it out" I said with an eye roll at her tone. "Look it's not gonna happen my dad and brother are none of your business anyway" she said driving the truck back down the road. "It is my business your brother is my mate wether you like it or not I'm going to be in his life and there's nothing you can do about it so why don't you lose the attitude you may be an Alpha's daughter just like me, but that does not give you the right to talk to me that way" I said as I looked out the window at my pack house.

"Turn here" I said pointing out the window "How's that working out for you" she said with a scoff. "Don't talk to me about my relationship with your brother because guess what just because we had a fight doesn't mean that we aren't gonna fix it" I said looking at her again. "After all you know nothing about our relationship and I bet your relationship isn't any better than ours" I said rolling my eyes again. "I love your brother and I don't care how hard things get or how hard he is to deal with at times I'm NEVER going to turn my back on him EVER" I said as she came to a stop outside the garage. I climbed out of the truck and slammed the door behind me taking off towards the pack house.

I went straight to my suite rushing past every person I came across once I got to the suite the body guards were already there waiting for me standing outside my door. I opened the door and pushed passed Eric who gave me a flirty grin I just rolled my eyes and walked into the suite the whole place was sparkling clean and Roxy was passed out on the couch. I just sighed as I walked into the bedroom and got undressed I went into the bathroom and started the shower to wash my body off from all the sweat from trying my hardest to find where Mason had taken off to. I just shook off my thoughts and climbed into the hot water stream of the shower. Once I was all clean I decided to throw on a crop top and some night shorts to sleep in and went to join Roxy on the couch.
