It's been 3 months since my first nightmare happened, I have the same nightmare every night. You would think after 3 months of the same thing happening that it would get less frightening. You would be wrong, every night I wake up with a start, cold sweat coats my body, and Mason holds me until I fall asleep again to relive the nightmare over and over again. I'm currently laying on the couch watching Shameless with Lacey while we wait for the boys to get back. Marcus is handling pack business while Mason meets with the neighboring packs to gain support in our battle against William and his rogues.

"Are you ready for lunch?" Lacey questions as she finishes the last stroke of nail polish on her big toe. "Sure" I nod standing up and folding my blanket back up and resting it on the back of their couch. "Marcus is coming back to take us out for lunch he said Mason will be home when we get back" she said while I stretched my tired muscles. "Okay, I'm gonna take a quick shower then I'll be ready" I responded as I walked to our bedroom. "Okay Marcus will be here in 30" she said getting up off the couch as well and heading to their room. Before she could make it into the bedroom I stopped her with my statement. "Thank you for everything Lace" I said before turning on my heel and entering our room "You're welcome Lizzy" she responded before I shut the door.

I smiled warmly as I leaned against the door Lacey and Marcus are my new best friends. They have been totally awesome when Mason is not around Marcus is like my protective older brother. Lacey is the best friend I never had she's super sweet and always makes me laugh when I just wanna scream and cry. I pushed myself off of the door and walked into the ensuite bathroom I looked in the mirror and gaped at my appearance. My eyes were terribly bloodshot, the bags under my eyes were a dark purple and black, my hair was a mess on top of my head. I literally look like the walking dead right now.

I shivered and started the shower once the water was to my liking I quickly showered and shaved before cutting off the water. Once I was completely dried off I wrapped my hair up in a towel and put some under wear on while I picked out my comfy yet cute outfit for lunch today. Time to lift my spirits by looking good no more moping around. I laid my outfit out onto the bed and went back into the bathroom to finish getting ready. I laid out all of my make up along with my hair dryer and straightener I dried off my hair before hanging up my towel. I went back into the bedroom and quickly threw on my outfit before checking the time on my phone I still have about 20 minutes before Marcus gets here.

I quickly went back into the bathroom and started blow drying my hair, once it was dry I did my best to straighten it. Once my hair was to my liking I pulled it up into a loose bun so I could put on make up to bring color back into my pale face. Once I was done concealing the bags under my eyes with foundation and concealer I started applying blush and contour. Once that was done I got started on my eye shadow when I heard the door to my bedroom open. I continued to do my make up expecting Lacey to come walking through the bathroom door to find me.

I finished my eyeshadow "Marcus is here" I heard her voice echo in the room. "Okay I'm almost done you can come in if you want, I promise I'm decent" I said as I slowly applied my winged eyeliner. I heard her heels clicking on the hardwood floor and then on the tile as she entered the bathroom. "Damn you look hot, Mason is gonna kill us for taking you out like that without him" she said leaning against the door as she watched me finish up my make up. "He'll survive plus it's time to stop moping and I am not going out looking the way I did" I said with a chuckle as I cleaned up the mess I made. "I'm more worried about you surviving y'all haven't even marked each other yet" Lacey said with a joyous laugh. "He's definitely gonna flip out when he sees you in that" she said with a smirk as I finished cleaning everything up and putting it in its proper place besides my straightener.

"Like I said he will survive" I said as I shook my head and sprayed on my perfume. "Girl, don't say I didn't warn you I remember those days and mine is only a Beta" she said with another giggle and a slight blush on her cheeks. "Let's go Marcus is probably starving I know I am" I giggled along with her. We linked our arms together and strutted out of the bedroom together and entered into the living room. Marcus was dressed in a nice white button up shirt perfectly contrasting his skin tone. He was playing on his phone, but when he heard Lacey's foot steps he immediately perked up.
