Chapter 39

Elizabeth's POV~

It's been three days since the night of my Luna ceremony, William surrendered without a choice to Mason. Everyone has been super respectful to Mason and I constantly bowing and addressing us solely as Ultima and Suprema. It's gonna take a long time to get used to this, Mason and I have been inseparable since I marked him. We haven't had any time to complete the mating process due to having to prepare for the Alpha King and Luna Queen. We're down to three weeks until they arrive to discuss the whole Kylee and William situation.

"Hey babe" I heard Mason's voice as he approached me from behind wrapping his arms around my waist. "Hey" I said as I looked at the mess of a living room. The house is still being remodeled and the contractor asked me to approve of the new French door. "It looks good Tony" I said as they put the finishing touches on the door before sighing. I leaned back into Mason's chest and looked up at him. "How are you today" he asked placing a kiss on the top of my head. "I'm tired, but I have to make sure everything gets done by the end of this week. We only have three more weeks until the Alpha King and Luna Queen arrive" I said with a huff as I stepped away from Mason to clean up more trash.

"Well, I think you deserve a break" he said grabbing my hand stopping me in my tracks. "I would love to babe, but it's time to get our house in order and move out of Lacey and Marcus' house" I responded letting go of his hand. "Trust me babe, once everything is finished I'm all yours, but I really want to impress the Alpha King and Luna Queen" I said sadly before leaning into his chest. "Okay fine, I will wait until the timing is right and then I'm gonna fuck you so-" he was cut off as my brother entered the room. "Please don't talk about banging my sister with me present" Travis cut in as him and Randy brought in the furniture.

"Give it a rest Travis, you and Rebecca are not any better" I said with an eye roll as Mason chuckled. "You got it dude" Mason responded as Randy shook his head. "I don't want to hear it either, but I remember those days very well. It gets better my friend" Randy said patting Mason's shoulder. "I think we can all understand that struggle" my dad cut in as him and Marcus came walking in with more furniture as well. "Okay and that's my cue to leave and check on the pack, enjoy guy time" I said patting Mason's chest and walking out the front door.

"I love you" he called out to me and I just waved my hand before mind-linking 'I love you too'. He smiled at me as I continued my walk to the pack house where the rest of the girls were. The girls and I have been cleaning up the pack house little by little since the battle. The boys have been assisting with the remodel on our house and now it's time to move the furniture back in. I walked into the pack house which was bustling with movement. Everyone I walked past nodded at me in small bows making me roll my eyes. I hate having people bow to me, I'm not better than anyone else and I don't deserve to be treated like a Queen when I'm not.

I finally found all of the girls in the dinning room hanging up Christmas decorations. "Hey ladies, how's it going in here" I asked and they all turned to me before bowing to me as well. "Okay guys not you too" I grunted as they all stood back up to their full heights. "We can't help it, our wolves feel the need to do it" my mom said with a shrug. "Whatever, how's everything going in here" I asked as I watched the pack members scramble around the pack house. "We're making great timing I say we should be right on schedule for the Alpha King and Luna Queens arrival" Rebecca replied holding up a clipboard.

"Great, do we have a menu prepared yet" I asked looking at Lacey who smiled. "Yes, per your request we have come up with the perfect menu. Texas chili with jalapeño corn bread, green beans, and mash potatoes." Rebecca listed off of her clipboard and I smiled brightly at the two betas "You two are brilliant, I hope they enjoy it" I said biting my nails. "Honey, you need to stop stressing everything will work out how it's supposed to" my mom said before pulling me into a hug. "Rachel and I are off to get massages while we leave the rest to you ladies" my mom said with a smile.
