I opened my eyes slowly the lights in the very bright room blinding me I squeezed my eyes shut until I felt comfortable with the lights. "Elizabeth" I heard my name and my eyes snapped open my vision blurry as I looked toward the voice. Mason caught my eye and I immediately tried to jump up but I was stopped by a shooting pain in my arm. "Doctor she's awake" Mason screamed as he ran out of the room I turned my head to look at the pain and noticed an IV in my arm. I looked more around the room taking in my surroundings, I'm in a hospital room.

Once I got comfortable in my current state the doctor walked in Mason following close behind. I rolled my eyes at him and turned to the doctor "Goodmorning Elizabeth we weren't expecting you to wake up so soon" the doctor said with a warm smile. "Why? I'm fine" I said as I looked at Mason who was just staring at me I glared back at him and turned to the doctor again. "My name is Doctor Francis but you can call me Henry" he said as he came to my side to check my monitors. "What's going on Henry why am I here" I asked "Because Elizabeth you suffered a concussion and you have aconite and night shade poisoning you're lucky to be alive" he responded before checking my pupils.

My heart started racing in my chest "What are you talking about" I asked looking at him for an answer. "You were injected multiple times with Night Shade and Aconite also know as Wolfs Bane" he said looking at me in all seriousness. "I would know if I was injected with wolfs bane" I said getting angry that the doctor is making false statements. "Actually you wouldn't this combination actually attacks your nervous system so it makes sense that you would forget what happened because it shuts down your body processes and actually it can stop your heart if you get enough. And with how much is in your body right now one more milliliter would have killed you." He said and my mind went blank as I stared in thought.

"So whoever did this to me was trying to kill me" I asked my main focus trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. "I don't think they wanted to kill you I think they wanted you to forget something" he said I searched his face and I thought of who would do this. "But since you are awake you're gonna need a lot of rest and we will release you when your body has fully expelled the poisonous substances" he said before turning to Mason and walking out leaving us alone together. "I'm so glad your awake and that you're okay" Mason said breaking the silence in the room. "Get out" I said coldly turning my head towards the window instead of him.

"No, I'm never letting you out of my sight" he said sternly making me snap my attention back to him. "Well that's too bad because if I never see you again it'll be too soon" I said before playing with my blanket. "Why do you hate me so much" he asked and I just shook my head "stop acting like you don't know what you did" I said anger getting the best of me. "Look I know what I did was wrong but there is no way that you are this mad at me where you literally beat my ass and still have this much hatred towards me" he said his wolfs voice mingling with his.

"You took everything from me" I yelled at him still unable to move under my IV "Now I seriously don't know what you're talking about, I didn't take anything from you" he said and he honestly sounded confused. "Fine, if you wanna keep playing dumb I'll spell it out for you, you killed my entire family Mason, I hate you now get the fuck out" I screamed and Mason's face widened in shock. "Who told you that" he said looking at me his expression unreadable. "William he told me everything" I said leaning back on the bed Mason just shook his head with a laugh before he grabbed his phone and dialed a number on it.

My interest was peaked at his movements as he lifted the phone up to his ear "Bring them in" he said before hanging up the phone. "Who else is coming?" I asked and he lifted his head to look at me as he sent a text message on his phone. "Don't worry I have a surprise for you" he said with a sly smirk on his face I just rolled my eyes. After a minute or two there was a knock on the door Mason opened the door and what I saw next made me cry. My entire family came running up to me my mother being the first person to give me a hug. Each one of my family members hugged me as Mason just leaned against the wall watching us together.
