After a victorious match between team cyan and team purple, the latter decided to celebrate by having a movie night. After all, it had been a while since they actually hung out together. And they totally deserved it.

In the end, they found themselves having a Star wars marathon.

Paisley and Stitch made it only halfway through New hope, until they fell asleep. Aviators lasted a little longer. He started to get sleepy at the beginning of Empire strikes back.

Few hours later, Skull was the only one, who was watching the films. Currently, the TV was playing Return of the jedi. The main characters were on their way to save Han Solo from Jabba.

To be honest, the purple sniper never really liked that scene, so naturally, he wanted to reach for his phone to kill some time, and wait for the scene to be over.

Unfortunately, his phone was out of reach, and nearly all members of team purple were either leaning on him, or in Stitch's case, sleeping on his lap in her squidform. So yeah, he was not getting up anytime soon.

Skull noticed Aviators' phone laying on the sofa near him. Surely Avi didn't mind if he used it instead, right?
Unlocking his co-captains phone was pretty easy, considering he knew the password. The date of the day, when the two met for the first time.
It made him smile. It was a memory he cherished.

Young Skull was sitting under a tree. He was in a bitter mood, because the teacher took his candy.
"Give them back!"
{Oh great. A school bully on top of everything else? No thanks.}

He was about to leave somewhere else, because he really didn't want to deal with that right now. That was, until he heard the douchebag say something that made Skull's blood boil.

"Awe look. Little freak's gonna cry!"

Before the bully could say anything else, he was grabbed by his shirt's collar roughly.

"Get. Lost."

Skull growled. It was enough to intimidate the bully, and make him run away like a coward, which is exactly what he was.

The purple squid noticed a pair of shades dropped on the ground, and picked them up. He turned around, and saw a small squid hugging his knees and keeping his eyes tightly shut. Sobbing quietly. He felt bad, and wanted to comfort the poor squid.

"Uh... Hey? Are you okay?"

The other shook his head slightly.

"Um... Are these yours?"

The sobbing squid refused to open his eyes and reached out his hand towards the shades Skull was holding. Apparently, he recognized what it was, because he took the shades and put them on very quickly. Having his eyes covered seemed to calm the young squid.

"...Thank you...?"

"Skull. And no problem...? "

"A- Aviators. Why did you help me Skull? I mean, I'm glad you did but-" Skull cut him off by placing a hand on the other's shoulder.

"Well, I couldn't just sit there and let that jerk call you freak. I know how much that hurts."

From that day on, the two of them started to hang out every day, and eventually became best friends. Sure, many of their classmates saw them as freaks. Eyebrowless squid and a squid, that never took off his shades. But Skull and Aviators ignored them.

From now on, it would be the two of them against the world.

Of course, their friendship had its ups and downs, and Skull hated how much his co-captain had to go through over the years. The best example being the time Aviators was stuck in the same team as Vintage. The ballpoint user sure knew how to make someone's life a living hell.
The sound of Darth Sidious' creepy laugh snapped him back to present, Skull realized he was still holding a phone in his hand. Why was he using it again? Well, whatever it was, it probably wasn't very important.

Looking at his best friend, who was still wearing his signature shades while sleeping, he started to wonder, what did his best friend's eyes look like? They had known each other, for about 10 years, yet he still had no clue.

The curiosity got the better of him, and the purple sniper reached to take the shades off.

Before he could even touch them, he was stopped by Aviators himself.

"Don't even think about it."
