"I think I need a break.."
Specs slumped on a bench.
Today was pretty hard for him, he got a low score on his history test because he forgot to study, he messed up the time schedule when team blue was supposed to meet up, and he dropped his phone in a lake.

Well- at least his phone was okay..

'Right, I still need to study for the math and inklish test tomorrow..'
Specs let out a sigh and just sat there.
For once, he slightly felt relaxed.
It's actually been a while since he had a break. With all of the battles and exams, he rarely got any break. And when he had break time during training or class, he studied.
Headphones got all worried saying that he should take a small break. And Googles said it'll make his mind berserk if he keeps on stressing himself out.
Break, Huh?
Specs stared at the concrete floor.

I think I do need a break. Maybe a quiet place will help me out a bit..?

"It's a surprise to see you here on a Wednesday."

Specs looked up to see a green inkling standing tall in front of him.
"Half-Rim..? You're here too I guess," Specs quickly sat up straight.
"Yeah." Half-Rim responded with his poker face.
"What are you doing here?" Half-Rim asked.
Specs lowered his shoulders.
"I just got out of training with Team Blue. You?"
"Shopping."
"Well that's rare," Specs chuckled.
"Yeah. Gloves asked he to get something for him."
The two just sat/stood there is silence.
"You know we have another meeting with the Glasses Group, right?"
Specs suddenly shot up.
"SHOOT I FORGOT!"

"Uh, why isn't anyone here?"
Specs asked, getting all confused.
"Before you ran off, I was supposed to tell you that they had other stuff to do today."
"WHAT"
"PPFFTTT-"
Specs let out a sigh.
"Wanna join me on finding something Gloves wants?" Half-Rim asked.
"Eh, I guess.." Specs just answered with a shrug.
As the two began walking, Specs thought of something he had to do... but he doesn't remember what..
"Hey, what does Gloves want Anyways?" Specs asked out of the bloom.
Half-Rim turned around.
"He says he wants some kind of pillow. He said it was popular now-a-days," Half-Rim stated.
Gloves nodded.
"What kind of pillow? A soft one?"
Half-Rim shook his head.
"No, these kinds."
Half-Rim then turned on his phone and showed an image to Specs.
"WOAH, OKAY, I DON'T NEED TO KNOW ANYMORE."
Specs quickly covered the phone.
"He's weird."
"Clip-Ons and Straps said they are the best kind," Half-Rim stated, taking back his phone.
"Err, well..." Specs just sweat-dropped.
Half-Rim then turned around and kept walking.
"Anyways, we're all most there," Half-Rim said.
"W-wait, what store are we even going to?" Specs asked, catching up to the slightly taller inkling.
"The Anime Store."
Specs just thought for a bit.
'Wow, I never knew Gloves was such a weeb..'
"Okay, we're here."
Specs turned his attention to a huge Kawaii-looking store with the title "アニメストア" ("Anime Store") at the top with red coloring.
The two then walked into the store.
There was actually a few inklings and octolings in the store, but thankfully non of them payed much attention to the two.
Specs then looked around the store.
There is a lot of cute notebooks.. BobbleHat and Headphones might like it here...
Specs then noticed another note book with pickled plums on it.
What the heck, they sell that stuff here..?
"Hey, I found it."
Specs turned his head to the side to see Half-Rim carrying an anime body pillow with some famous anime inkling on it.
"Uhhhhhhh..."
"Let's go pay," Half-Rim just cooly walked over to cashier.
HOW THE HECK IS THIS GUY COOL WITH THIS?!??!?!?!
Specs mentally screamed in his mind.
"Specs."
Specs stopped his thought and quickly turned to Half-Rim.
"YES?"
"Do you have 3 coins on you?"
Specs quickly deadpanned.
WHO GOES INTO AN ANIME STORE AND DOESN'T BRING EXTRA MONEY?????????
Before Specs can even continue screaming in his mind, he gave Half-Rim the 3 coins he had in his pocket.
Half-Rim then gave the cash to the Cashier.
And then out of the bloom, the cashier asked:

"Thats cute. You two together?"

"Yes." "No."

Both Half-Rim and Specs looked at each other.

"No." "Yes."

The two then stopped talking.

The cashier let out a chuckle and said: "Just date. It's that simple!"

Specs and Half-Rim just blushed and left the store.

How awkward..
