"Dang it! It just had to rain!!"
Mask yelled, pissed as he ran to an open cafe.
Thankfully due to Mask's fast speed, he was slightly soaked.
"Out of all daayyss.." Mask sighed out, walking over to the furthest table in the cafe.
Once taking his seat, Mask took out his phone, only to find out its dead.
"Uughhhh today's the worst!" Mask grumbled as he sunk onto the chair, closing his eyes for a bit.
After like 1 second, Mask lazily reopened his eyes, suddenly finding a coffee cup in front of him.
"I kinda figured ya needed this!" A familiar happy voice said.
"Huuhh...?"
Mask turned his head upward to face an old rival in blue.
"BobbleHat?" Mask randomly blurted out.
'Oh shoot-!' Mask mentally panicked.
"That's my name! hehe!" The female inkling in a cafe uniform saluted teasingly.
Mask took a while to examine the girl's outfit.
It was a simple waiters outfit with a white apron-skirt.. However, BobbleHat was wearing a white eyepatch on her left eye.
"Y'knooww..This is the first time I've seen your eyes..," Mask stated out loud as he took ahold of the free coffee.
'Weell.. more like eye..' Mask thought as BobbleHat nodded.
BobbleHat only kept her grin, "..And.. I guess this is the first time I've seen you without your mask!"
'Ooh, thaat's right..' Mask thought.
Surprisingly, he took off his mask to drink the coffee.
I kinda feel more comfortable without my mask on with her..
"I saw you walk in earlier.. Just thought I'd stop by a bit!" BobbleHat stated with her same grin.
Mask mumbled as a reply.
"Do you work here or something?" Mask asked, trying to end awkwardness for the first time.
Well, duh, of course she does..
"Yeah! I do!" BobbleHat clapped once again happily.
Hmm..thats nice.. she's possible wifu material- wait what-
Mask quickly shook his head to get the thought out.
"Iss..something wrong?" BobbleHat asked, out of worry.
"No- It's nothing," Mask quickly breathed out, "Besides, why are you working out so late?"
BobbleHat gave a small smile.
"I just got bored, is all! There's nothing to do if Team Blue is busy with personal stuff!" BobbleHat explained, then turning her attention to the window, "Oh, hey the rain softened a bit.."
Mask silently grunted to himself.
"Hey," Mask said, gaining Bobblehat's attention, "Can I borrow your phone real quickly?"
BobbleHat nodded and then dug through her pocket.
"Here you go!" BobbleHat quickly pressed in her password and handed the blue phone to Mask.
After a small 'thanks', Mask began typing away. Within a blink of an eye, Mask handed back the phone to BobbleHat.
'Woah- that was quick,' BobbleHat thought as she took back her phone.
"Anyways, I'll be going. I've probably got a package waiting at my apartment," Mask stated, getting up from his seat and picking up the half-drunken cup.
"Oh- um! Okay!..come back...again..," BobbleHat watched as Mask walked away.
Ding ding~
BobbleHat sighed at herself.
'Admit it Bobble! He'll never like you..' The blue inkling
BobbleHat puffed her cheeks slightly.
"Heeeyyyy!! Bobble, your shifts over! Manager and I will clean up from here!" One of BobbleHat's coworkers yelled from the kitchen.
"Oh- okay!!"
As BobbleHat walked into the 'employees only' room, she thought about what Mask was doing on her phone.
Out of curiosity, BobbleHat opened her phone..and surprisingly, her phone lit up more.
