It was sunny.
Like any other day in Inkopolis.
Laceless was running through the big crowds of Inkopolis Square.
He's looking kinda late..

Late for what, you may ask?

Well, he has training.
No, not training with Team New-Emperor.

It's with a strong player.

Laceless quickly ran into the lobby, getting to the meeting spot he was meeting this strong player.
"S-sorry I took so long...!" Laceless panted, out of breath.
"Well, your late. That's okay though," the inkling in front of him crossed their arms.
Laceless looked up with a small smile.
"Heh, you ready to train now? Or what?" The inkling asked.
"Yes! Nightmare-Sensei!"
The inkling, now identified as Nightmare, grinned.

[time skip]

"Seems like we trained this late.."
Nightmare tapped on her phone, looking at the time.
Laceless sat on the bench that was provided to them.
"Why? What time is it?" Laceless asked as he packed his stuff.
"It's almost 12 A.M."
Laceless started panic packing.
"OH SHOOT- I PROMISED MY DAD I'LL GET BACK HOME BY 10-"
"Hey, chill." Nightmare sighed as she turned to her apprentice.
"I'll walk ya home? How does that sound?"
Laceless looked at Nightmare in worry, "Are you sure?"
Nightmare nodded.
"W-well if you way so...," Laceless went back to packing.

"Aw, man. I guess it's raining," Nightmare and Laceless watched as the rain poured from the sky.
The two just watched, standing behind the sliding doors of the lobby.
"Let's run."
"WHA-WHAT?!?"
Laceless looked at Nightmare like she was crazy.
"Well, you won't get home and I won't either. We don't have an umbrella soo...."
Laceless just sighed as his reply,"Okay then, we just have to get to the station.."
Then the two went off like sonic.
They ran through the rain, using their bags and jackets as their cover.
Like luck, the two were slightly drenched but they at least got to the train station.
"Well, I can take it here," Laceless looked up at the train times.
"But you'll be here for about 2 hours until the next train."
Laceless dead-panned.
"It's okay," Nightmare placed a hand on Laceless's shoulder.

"I'll stay with you.."
