Young adult setting! (I think!)

"What? No party today? That's a bit surprising.."

Army just raised a brow at Aloha, who looked like he was going out somewhere.

It has been a few days since Aloha broke up with his last girlfriend. It seems that his other last 15 girlfriends (and maybe his last 8 boyfriends) didn't amuse him much. So, Aloha has been going over to Army's place, for no absolute reason. Perhaps its because being single is boring?

"Well, at least you won't stay here for 6 hours crying and drinking all the milk from my fridge like you normally do." Army paused for a moment, "Are you nagging yourself a girlfriend again?"

Aloha shrugged, "Maybe, who knows? A boyfriend may do as well."

Army sighed, knowing that Aloha may end up breaking up with them a day after or two. Army knows he can't stop Aloha. After all, Aloha is Aloha. And you can't change Aloha.

"Sure, whatever fits with you. But please, don't come back rushing here and chugging all the milk. Your crying is annoying." Army said giving a side glare to Aloha.

Aloha chuckled. "Sure."

~

Maybe Aloha was going to regret going over to Inkopolis Square.

For once, he felt a bit lonely. But seeing him, you don't really consider him 'lonely.' Every now and then, he'd get some fangirls who want to take photos and selfies with him.

Finally, the fangirls were gone when Aloha was able to take a different route.

So much for the attention.

Aloha stopped by a wall and placed his hand on it, resting out of exhaustion.

Well, Aloha wasn't able to even get a girl-

Suddenly, something touched Aloha's back. Or rather someone..

Curiously, Aloha turned around to see an octoling.

They were definitely much shorter than Aloha.. The smaller figure had short baby pink tentacles that were tied up into a short bun, wore a black hoodie along with a black skirt.

'Huh..?'

Aloha backed up a bit.

"S-sorry," Aloha scratched the back of his head.

"It's okay," the octoling responded.

Aloha's cheeks tinted pink.

"Well, hey~"

Aloha placed his hand above the octoling's head.

Ah, right to flirtatious mode.

"Go on, don't be shy~ Ask me out~"

"Alright."

The octoling looked up at Aloha.

Aloha smirked.

"Go out."

Sweat dropped down from Aloha's cheek.

This might be the most awkwardest moment of his life.

"Sorry," The octoling gave a small bow, "Let's just start off nicely."

The octoling extended their hand for a handshake.

"I'm Aki."

Aloha grinned, grabbing the baby pink octoling's arm and pulled Aki into a close position, cornering the octoling.

"Aloha's the name~"

Aloha looked straight into Aki's eyes.

"Y'know, your way more cuter than those other chicks i've been with."

Aki paused for a moment, blushing a bit.

'Should....Nah, I'm not even going to bother correcting him,' Aki thought.

"So? What-do-ya say?" Aloha placed his hand on Aki's chin, lifting it to meet proper eye contact.

"I hardly even know you," Aki responded, letting out a small sigh.

Aloha shrugged, but kept his cool grin, "No matter."

"..."

There was a small pause.

"You're guy, aren't you?"

Aki's eyes grew a bit wide.

'That's....a first...'

Aloha's grin grew.

"Hah. Knew it, your face tells me everything. Gender's not a problem, though. It's gotta be what's on the inside, right?~"

Aki pouted a bit.

It's has been awhile since Aloha's found someone this cute to be true.

"Fine, but we'll start off slow."
