We began walked towards the guest bedroom before I turned around to face George and shouted, "We're gonna go watch a movie, bye!"
"Okay, have fun." He made a double-take, "Wait- WE?"
"Yeah me and Alex."
He gave me a look and I threw my hands up.
"Okayyyy," he held out the y.
"Okay, goodbye!" I grabbed Alex's hand and sprinted into the guest room, unable to hold back a small giggle.
I dragged him into the room and threw the door shut, not bothering to turn on the lights as I blindly searched for the TV's power button. I heard the bed squeak, telling me that Alex sat down. I hit the button and the monitor whirred to life.
I sat on the bed next to Alex and grabbed the remote to the Roku that was already on and flipped to Netflix.
"What do you want to watch?" I asked.
"Ever heard of American Horror Story?"
