After me and Ophelia's argument Theia asked me, "What the heck happened?!"

"Lia ran off and I knew something was up. I asked her what was wrong and she told me 'it's nothing.' I knew Ophelia was lying. She told me that she was afraid I would leave her. Lia also told me that she was jealous because I was spending all my time with Layla. I got angry and snapped. We got into an argument and then she stormed off."

Theia sighed and shook her head. "Boy, I'm oughta' beat the crap out you. Did you just leave Layla?"

"She'll be fine. I haven't been away for that long. Can I ple—" She put her hand in front of my face.

"Here's what you're going to do. You're going to go back to your girlfriend and you're going to give Ophelia some space for a while. Got it?" Theia commanded in a firm voice.

"But—"

"Go." She said pointing to the bonfire. I walked over to Layla.

"Why'd you leave?" Layla asked.

"I saw Ophelia run off and I wanted to see if she was okay."

"But we were talking and then you just left. You didn't even tell me why you were leaving." She made a good point.

"I know, I'm sorry. Please don't be mad." I said.

"I'm not mad, I'm upset. I get that you were worried but sometimes people just need space. Give her sometime, I'm sure she'll come around. Is Ophelia okay?" Layla smiled. What did I do to deserve her? Layla's such a forgiving person.

"She's okay. I promise I won't leave you like that again."

"You promise?"

"I promise." I grabbed her hand in mine and kissed it. Layla smiled even bigger. Then Mr. Landon shouted my name.

"Jay!" I looked at him. Mr. Landon used his finger to signal that he wanted me to come to him. I walked over to him.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Care to explain to me what happened?" Mr. Landon's arms were crossed.

I explained to him everything that happened. Mr. Landon lectured me a bit then told me to return to my cabin. When I entered my cabin Matthew was glaring at me. What's up with him? Preston and Connor were watching a video on the top bunk of the bunk bed. I sat on my bed which was on the bottom bunk. I tried to sleep but I would practically feel Matthew's glare. I had had enough.

"What?" I shouted.

He stood up and said, "You're a real jerk, you know that?" I stood up too and we were standing face to face.

"Why do you say that?" I asked, slitting my eyes at Matthew. I was doing my best to keep my cool but he had a really annoying face.

"Because of what you said to Ophelia." Matthew said.

"How'd you know about that? Were you watching us or something?"

I was starting to get real pissed. "No, she told me what happened." He told me as we started staring each other down.

Connor noticed what was happening. "Woah guys, calm down." He said separating us with his hands.

We almost made it all the way to our separate beds but I control my anger. I turned around and gave Matthew a right hook to the face. "Son of a—" He reeled his arm back, preparing to throw a punch when Connor stood between us.

"Guys! Chill out." He'll be lucky if he comes out of this trip alive.

"Stay away from Ophelia." I warned pointing a finger at Matthew. He was holding his lip that was bleeding. I went to bed satisfied that I got at least one punch in.
