Atherelle's POV
Tournament
Last week, I changed the design of my veranda to make it look better. I put a two-seater vogue white couches, one rounded glass table, and two chairs. I also put small plants to make the place look cute and designed fairy lights to make it look aesthetically calming.
He even helped with my schoolwork sometimes. He teaches me some topics that I don't know much about. Tinuturuan niya ako sa paraang alam niya, and it helps me a lot though. It enlightens me somehow. We often study and do our schoolwork together, and I learned a lot of things from him.
That's what we usually did the past week. We haven't played together but I always saw him playing alone. He played rank which bothered me, but I did not ask him about it. My credit score is still eighty-nine and I can't play rank kaya hinayaan ko nalang.
We are talking on the phone. It seems so interesting and exciting, but I can't go to watch it. Monday is our midterm, and I will study the whole weekend. I don't have time to explore, especially since I have a goal to achieve this sem.
"I can't, I'm studying. Makikibalita nalang ako kay Emerson sa Monday." I said to Clarissa
I am currently studying, and Clarissa disturb me in my study session just to convince me to watch the tournament.
Come on, I'll ask your parents] she convince me again in a hopeful tone.
My parents knew that our midterms examination are on Monday. Mabuti sana kung malayo-layo pa baka sakaling payagan ako.
[Kuya, wants you here. To support him] aniya [Zed, may pogi rin.
Here she goes again.
Kausapin mo] I heard Clarissa talked to someone
[This is Emerson. Can't I really convince you to come here? Championship na at nakarating kami]
I sighed. I'm guilty.
"Susubukan kong magpaalam." I said
I went to my Daddy's office and was about to knock on the door when I heard him talking with my mom. I don't eavesdrop so I decided to just go back to my room and be back here once they were done talking but when I heard them mention my name, I stopped.
"Haven't you observed them both? Emerson is much better than Clark at running a business. He has a vivid mind which is better for negotiation. Perhaps, judicious." I heard my mom's voice
"Clark is consistent with work. Emerson also played that stupid game and he's going to tolerate your daughter." si Daddy naman ngayon
"But, Emerson can pull both. Playing that game and running a business." mommy's voice
"For Emerson, yes. And now, you're going to make her marry Emerson? For what? For him to tolerate your daughter? Mas lalong maging stupida 'yan."
