Atherelle's POV
Defeated
Alam kong may problema siya. He's not in his usual self. I notice that but he's trying to look fine even when it's too obvious that he isn't.
"Prepare for bed now." I softly said
Tumango siya at dahan-dahang bumitaw sa yakap. He took a quick shower first before I followed. Pagkatapos kong maligo ay nakahiga na siya sa kama niya pero hindi pa tulog. He looks tired and bothered looking at me blow drying my hair. Nilingon ko siya at nginitian ng konti bago tuluyang tinapos ang pag blow dry ng buhok. I turned the lights off before lying down beside him. Ang natirang ilaw ay ang galing sa lampshade. He wrap his arms around my waist and buried his face on my neck. I hug him back and caress his head using my other hand.
"You can tell me your problem, Gav," I told him.
Patuloy ako sa paghaplos sa buhok niya habang naghihintay ng sasabihin niya.
"Just don't leave me. I'll be okay," he said in a small tone, sounding so sleepy.
Siya ang may problema pero ako ang umiyak. It hurts seeing him in this situation. Wala man akong alam pero ramdam kong nahihirapan siya.
If only he would tell me everything.
I secretly wipe my tears before kissing him on his head. My heart is aching and I can't help on tearing up. Kung pwede ko lang pawiin ang problema na dinadama niya ay ginawa ko na.
Suddenly, I heard him sob. Hinapit niya ang baywang ko at mas inilapit sakaniya. Sobrang higpit ng yakap niya sa akin at dahil sa nanginginig na balikat ay alam kong umiiyak siya.
"I'm sorry. B-baby, I'm sorry." his voice broke and I can feel the extreme pain he has inside.
Pinipigilan ko ang luha ko dahil gusto kong magpakatatag sakaniya pero hindi ko kaya. I cried and hugged him back tightly.
"I'm too guilty for everything. I-I can imagine your struggles and fear when that incident happened and... and I wasn't fucking there," he said.
Hinagod ko ang likod niya habang hawak-hawak ang ulo niya sa isang kamay. I want to comfort him to calm him down. Kahit ako hindi ko alam paano tumahan gayong ako ang dahilan bakit siya nasasaktan ngayon. Sobrang sakit pagmasdan siyang ganito.
"Baby, tell me." he trailed off "Do I still deserve you?"
Humikbi ako lalo na sa tanong niya. Mahal na mahal ko siya at deserve niya 'yon. He deserve to be loved. Gaviel is more than deserving.
"Y-you're more than deserving, Gav." I sobbed "Stop thinking that you aren't."
"I love you so much, Atherelle. I want to create a big ravage for what they did to you. If only I could." he uttered
Now I understand why he acts like this. He's guilty of what happened to me. He blamed himself for not being there for me. He thinks he's useless.
"Know that I love you so much, Gaviel. Please, don't blame yourself for what happened to me. It wasn't your fault."
He remove his arm on my waist and lifted his body dahilan kung bakit bumitaw ako sa yakap niya. He lean his arms beside my neck and watched me lying down.
His eyes were bloodshot and the tip of his nose was red. Halatang umiyak nga siya. But even when he cried, he still looks so handsome. Ang namumula niyang ilong at mata ay mas lalong nagpa gwapo sakaniya.
