Because of what Gaviel told the media, people are now bugging me about his rumored ex-girlfriend and they are expecting that it is me since I am also an architect in the U.S.
Hindi ko alam na magconclude kaagad ang mga tao na ako iyon. Yes, I was indeed an Architect in U.S but there are many Architects na galing ding U.S. Pero ano pa nga bang magawa ko? All I have to do now is to go back to U.S. to avoid chaos.
Emerson invited me to their base camp today because I don't have work to do, pumayag na ako. I didn't also forget to bring food for lunch. They are still all asleep when I arrived. Palaging silang nagbabatak kaya palagi late gumising.
"Damn, why did you come too early?" Clarissa groaned and didn't bother to open her eyes.
"It's already 11AM." sabi ko
She didn't talk after I say it. Nakapikit pa rin siya at ilang segundo lang ay dumilat at biglaang bumangon na tarantang-taranta. She remove the pillow and stood up to get her phone.
"What's with the rush?" I curiously asked.
"May stream kasi dapat kami ni Gasper. Tangina, sa alas nwebe dapat 'yon, e." problemado niyang saad.
I shrugged while watching her look so problematic. They can stream on the other day. Marami pa namang bukas.
She went to the bathroom to fix herself before she woke the boys up while I waits in the dining. Gerald woke up first, followed by Jack and Byron. Si Emerson ang panghuling gumising.
I examined the place. Magkakatabi ang gaming chairs nila at ang kay Clarissa ay pink na nasa gitna. I smiled looking at it. Clarissa didn't play before because she doesn't understand ML. But look at her now. She graduated Bachelor of Science in Business Administration but ultimately pursued being a pro ML player. Who would have thought she's gone too far like this?
"Zed, you came!" si Gerald na kakababa pa lang, kasunod ang iba.
"Of course, why can't I?" I smirked "I missed you guys a lot."
I usually visit here before. Kapag uuwi ako ng Pilipinas ay nagpupunta talaga ako rito.
"Tagal mo ring hindi nakauwi rito, a." si Byron
"Yeah, busy with work."
"Haven't you guys ordered food?" Jack asked while holding his tummy, just got went downstairs.
Itinaas ni Clarissa ang mga pagkaing binili ko at nagpunta na sa dining para kumain. I helped Clarissa to prepare the foods while the boys are just waiting for us.
"Emerson isn't here yet. Tawagin mo, Jack." Byron commanded.
"Nadyan na!" sigaw ni Emerson na narinig ata ang sinabi ni Byron.
Emerson went inside. He gave me a teasing smirk the moment our gaze met. I just raised a brow at him as he took a sit beside Gerald. We settled down to eat and Emerson's weird smirk didn't fade. I glared at him as a warning, but it gives him reason to tease me more. I can't help but roll my eyes at him which made them laugh.
"What can you say about my game with your ex?" he asked playfully in the middle of eating.
"Nice game," I said and everyone laughed.
It was a nice game, indeed. I thought it was not interesting at first but it was amazing.
"Your ex did a great job on that game. Dinurog-durog ko lang 'yan noon, e." mayabang niyang sinabi.
