Always Been You
I left Philippines after that night. Maaga ako sa trabaho at ang bumungad sa akin pagkapasok ay ang malaking bouquet na inabot sa akin nang guard.
"Someone sends this to you, madam." the guard handed me the huge bouquet.
Tumango ako at tinanggap ang malaking bouquet. Because of the dashing flowers I am carrying, I got the employee's attention while making my way to my office. I put the huge bouquet on the couch and get the card above.
'Welcome back, architect. I missed you a lot.' -Dale
Tinupi ko ang card at ibinalik sa ibabaw ng mga rosas matapos mabasa ang maikling mensahe. I know we'll see each other later so I will thank him personally, kagaya ng palagi kong ginagawa noon kapag binibigyan niya ako ng ganito.
I sat on the swivel chair to start my work. Marami ng projects ang gagawin ko kaya nagiging busy ako sa araw na iyon at sa mga sumunod pa.
I was in the middle of creating plates when my phone rang for a call.
"Ris?" I uttered after I answered the call.
"Ang dami ng ganap dito."
Noon ay palagi akong kinakamusta ni Clarissa rito. Now I guess she won't ask me how I am, she's gonna tell a news. Magsasabi na naman ng chismis.
"I'll send a link to you." aniya
I open my macbook and wait for her to send it. Nang maisend niya na ay agad ko itong binuksan. It was a latest news about Gaviel's relationship with Alessia. The news did not confirm if it was legit but that's according to her. May picture pa ng dalawa na magkasama sa isang mamahaling restaurant at ang sinabi ni Alessia sa interview ay matagal na silang magkakilala ni Gaviel and they already build a good and stable relationship.
She had an interview and I was included. May ipinakita sakaniyang picture namin ni Gaviel noong magkasama kami sa bar. The picture is when Gaviel was holding my waist in the dancefloor.
Alessia did not commented about it but she acted too wounded when she saw it. Dahil sa inamin niya ay nagmukha na rin akong kabit sa paningin ng iba.
"The issue about you and Gaviel just got out three days after you left. Hindi ko agad sinabi dahil mawawala lang din naman kalaunan, not until Gaviel and Alessia were seen publicly in a romantic restaurant." Clarissa hissed.
"If they ever have a relationship then, I don't know. Wala namang namamagitan sa amin ni Gaviel." nasabi ko.
"But girl, Alessia acted a victim here. She did not say anything about you in her interviews because she wants sympathy from people. Gusto niyang kaawaan siya at ikaw ngayon ang naging masama."
"If I ever knew she's in a relationship with Gaviel--"
"Wala silang relasyon!" giit ni Clarissa.
"Whatever, Ris. The girl won't say a thing kung wala naman talaga."
"But knowing Alessia? She's a desperate bitch." walang habas niyang sinabi "She's just acting like an angel all the time but she's really a bitch."
"Clarissa!" I called her in a warning tone.
Umaandar na naman ang pagiging pasaway. This is why the reason she got into trouble most of the time. Her spoiled bratty mouth won't shut up.
"Pinsan mo nga Angel pangalan demonyo naman. Magsama sila ni Alessia na mukhang anghel pero certified alagad ni Satanas." she ranted.
