Motivation
Clarissa remained staring at me with wide eyes. Kalaunan ay umismid siya pero hindi pa rin nagsasalita. Hinampas niya pa ako sa balikat bago tumawa.
"You're kidding, right?" utas niya
"No, I'm not."
She was looking at me all the time, reading my mind if I was saying the truth or if I was scamming her. She's hesitant to believe but she knew me. I don't do jokes. But I can't blame her. Of all people in the world, he is the one I met in mobile legends who also happened to be one of my friend's opponents.
"Totoo talaga?" pagkompirma ni Clarissa
I nodded again. She was still staring at me, so I waved my hand in front of her face to make her stop staring. She's creepy.
"Anyway, I'll go first. Baka hinahanap na ako sa bahay." Paalam ko sakanila habang si Clarissa ay bakatitig ng masama sa akin, hindi pa rin naniniwala.
"Take care." Isa-isa nilang sinabi.
Nang nasa labas na ako ay bigla nalang kumaripas si Clarissa at pinigilan ako. I almost laugh at her. She's still in shocked.
"Prove it to me then. Mag-sleep over ako mamaya sa inyo." aniya
"Sure. Bye!" I winked playfully before getting inside the car.
My parents aren't home yet when I arrived kaya tahimik lang akong nakaakyat sa kwarto. Clarissa did go to the house after dinner, and she was excited to meet Eztri. Because of her excitement, she took a bath early at inutusan pa akong bilisan kong mag-ayos.
Eztri isn't online earlier, and I am not sure if he'll go online later. Nakasanayan na kasi namin na mag-online lang kapag gabi at noong unang linggo lang kami palaging nag-uusap sa umaga dahil nag-aaral kami ng sabay. I don't intend to hope that he's going to talk to me all the time because this is just RPW, and no one would last with that one.
"What's his name?" usisa ni Clarissa.
I am now doing my skincare routine in front of the mirror while she's sitting at the side of my bed, looking like an excited six-year-old girl.
"It's just his RPW," I spoke.
"Ha, bakit? Ask his real name." aniya
Umiling lang ako. I want us to stay like this for now. Kapag binigyan kami ng chance makilala ang isa't-isa, e, mangyayari talaga 'yon. I shouldn't rush things of knowing him. Besides, bakit pa namin kikilalanin ang isa't-isa, 'di ba? For sure naman sa susunod na araw, buwan o taon ay malilimutan na rin namin ang isa't-isa.
After we settled everything, I opened my RPW and Eztri was active. Clarissa is beside me waiting for Eztri's message. Kung ganito nalang din siya ka excited then maybe that guy is really that handsome, huh?
Eztri:
So, you've done it very well, huh?
He replied to my message earlier, the time when I updated him after I'd done the exam.
"Tawagan mo nga!" utos ni Clarissa
"No," mabilis kong tanggi
"Bakit ayaw mo? Oh, sige sabihin mo nalang laro kayo para malaman ko kung siya ba talaga 'yang Eztri na 'yan."
Hindi talaga ako tatantanan nitong si Clarissa kaya no choice but to ask him to play. He approved it right away though. My credits are ninety plus already so I can now play rank. Eztri then invited me a ranked game and just like before, we open the mic. At talagang tumili si Clarissa matapos marinig ang boses ni Eztri.
