Reid gave the person talking a sad look, sighing softly in return. "You shouldn't hate my mother because she tried her best. There was only so much she could do with the hand she was dealt in life." He promised with a small nod. "We did our best, and I turned out alright." _______________
"I hate them too." He admitted, looking up. "Cat, Scratch, Lindsey, I hate them." He picked up some of the files on his desk, a tight look on his face. He turned away again, going back to his work. "I'd rather not talk about it."
