"I-I don't feel goo.." Reid stumbled, then collapsed.
He waved them off. "I'm fine, please, just leave me alone." He muttered, rubbing his eyes. The dark circles under his eyes were more prominent then ever and he was slow, but he wouldn't admit it.
"Aah- Ow, ow, stop it!" Spencer had winced, closing his eyes tight. "I'm fine, okay? Just go."
Harsh coughing, that's what was coming from Spencer's desk. He had been having trouble all day, and when he looked at the tissue he had been coughing into, he sprinted to the bathroom rather quickly.
"Yea, hi, um, I need to call in sick." Reid was quiet into the phone, barely audible. "I-I have a fever of 102.7 degrees Fahrenheit, if it gets much higher I will most likely need to go to the ER due to possible overheating inside my body and I'm not taking painkillers or something to lower the fever."
Reid had gone into the unsub's house to negotiate, sadly without a vest due to the requirements for negotiation, and when firing went off inside, five shots total, the BAU followed quickly. Although the unsub was on the floor, one shot through the head, Spencer was against the wall, breathing slowed, two bullets in his abdomen.
Spencer had been sitting at his desk, his head on the cool wood and his arms across the back of his head for about five minutes. One would think he's asleep if it wasn't for his occasional shift to be more comfortable.
"I've already taken Advil." He waved off his friend, rubbing his eyes. "Headache's not going away any time soon, I just need to deal with it."
"Over here!!" He yelled to his friends from his place in the corner of the on fire room, harsh coughing afterwards. He was cuffed to a pipe, pulling against it until his wrists bled. His lungs were burning and his eyes were watering and he felt like he was dying.
"I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm okay." He closed his eyes tight, hand over over the wound in his stomach. As the suspect was escaping, Reid was stabbed twice by pruning shears. "Stay awake, Spencer, keep thinking, keep talking, they'll be here soon.. I called for backup.. They'll be here..."
Reid groaned, looking up at his friend. "Just let me sleep, okay? I didn't expect to get sick on my way home."
