1. Literal young Spencer. An unsub kills Diana and kidnaps Spencer, cue some story about someone in the BAU taking him in. This can be anywhere aged from 6-16, to be honest.
2. Magic! Some magical unsub turns back the clock on our good doctor. Again, aging varies.
3. Another one including the BAU coming in on investigation, but this time it's at either MIT or CalTech and they see little 14 year old Spencer at college.
4. An unsub kidnaps Spencer at a young age and the BAU rescues him. Aging varies but it works best if he's in his teen years when he's rescued.
5. Spencer was taken away from his mom when William left and put into foster care. Someone in the BAU looks to adopt.
