No One's POV

Garmadon and Nya wake up tied to the post. "Nya, are you all right?" Shaking her head, she replied, "Yes. What-What happened?" Garmadon struggles as he tries to loosen the knot on both of his wrists, "We have to get out of here."

Clause shows himself in, "My pet loves the smell of fear."  Snapping his head towards Clause, Garmadon thrashes forward but was bind by the knot. "Where is my son? What have you done with-"

"I have your son. But his power will become mine at the ceremony tonight. I'm sorry you didn't get an invite. I'm still a little hurt when my pupil decided to betray me so long ago." Chen cuts in. Surrendering to his fate, Garmadon slumps down in defeat.

Nya retaliates, "But how did you defeat him...?"

He smiles, "Oh, I had a little help." Kai announces himself. Nya gasp as she takes in the sight of her brother. "Why, Kai? How could you do this?!" Fighting her own tears, she scrutinizes Kai with disappointment. Kai grimaces, "Chen holds all the power. Lloyd alone never stood a chance. I had to think about what was best for us. He'll let you go if-"

Nya cuts him off, "I'd rather be snake food!! And he's not alone! (Y/n) is with him-"

Chen loudly cackles, "Oh, you mean her?" There, she stands beside Chen. No recognition can be found in her gaze.

Garmadon's eyes widen, "(Y/n)...you unleash her bind?!!" Kai mirrors the same expression when he sees her. Chen pats Kai's shoulder, "I have to thank you Kai for bringing her straight to us. Now we'll be unstoppable!" 

Nya's eyes widen, shock with the transformation of (Y/n), "No...(Y/n)..."

Kai brushes off Chen's hand, "(Y/n) is not part of the deal."

Chen rolls his eye, "Oh boohoo, I still got her, didn't I?" Skylor and Kai share a worried glance. "Now, I have a better place to go-" Garmadon grabs Skylor as the last option. "Untie us!!"

Both Chen and Clause laugh, "Or what? You've changed, remember? You're Sensei Garmadon now. You're a good guy. Threats don't frighten me."

Garmadon hesitantly pushes Skylor away before he turns to (Y/n).  "Sensei Garmadon...I know that name..." (Y/n) forehead creases as she struggles to remember.  His eyes lit up with awareness and hope.

Chen calls out to her, "Come, (Y/n). You had a good run Garmadon. But all good things must come to an end~" He laughs as he leaves, Clause follows.

Garmadon's eyes never left Chen until he's out of his sight. 'If looks could hurt.' He thought as he helplessly watches Chen leave with his pupil. Nya retort back, "This isn't you, Kai. Don't do this."

"...sorry, sis, this is the way it has to be," Kai replies as he winks at them from behind. Nya gives a small gasp, realizing what her brother is planning to do. Both of them smile.

Kai's POV

I hold back Skylor's shoulder facing her towards me. "This is how your father treats you? It doesn't have to be this way, Skylor." Skylor sigh, "But he has the staff. Now that he has (Y/n) at his beck and call...there's nothing I can do about it." I set my jaw, "...what if I can? You heard him before, my mind is like an open book. Lloyd doesn't stand a chance alone, but if Chen trusts me, I can get closer to the staff and then-"

"Why would you tell me this? After I betrayed you?"

I give her a lopsided grin, "You spared me for a reason. And you know I'm far too fetching to resist~" She chuckles at my attempt to flirt.
