No One's POV
"Hmm! Fortune cookies....bring them to me!" ordered Chen. One of the kabuki fetched the tray of cookies and went on her way to Chen's sitting area.
"Are they're not from the captured-I mean honored guests?" said Clause, a hint of warning in his voice.
"I'm not going to eat them, Clause, just read the fortunes. They're my favorite part-!"
"Might I remind you, our guests are fond of whispering and I don't think it's about your food. I've heard word they have allied themselves. The Ninja have told them about our secret ceremony." Chen tried to take the fortune cookie from Chen but alas failed.
"Do they know about the spell?" asked Chen.
"Not yet, but we must get ahead of this." Clause gave back the fortune cookie to Chen. He put it back on the tray to be passed to the competitors.
Chen turned his attention towards the competitors, "It has come to my attention that there are rumors floating about that I am stealing everyone's power........I AM!"
An uproar of exclamation came from the crowd of competitors, "But it's all for this STAFF!" Chen gave a clap and a kabuki came out while holding an intricate staff.
"The Staff of Elements!" Chen take hold of the staff.
He stopped for a dramatic impact before he continued, "It holds the power of your fallen foes and soon it will hold all but one. For the last person standing in my tournament will win this prize and be the greatest fighter ever in the history of Ninjago."
Everyone riled up in excitement.
Lloyd's POV
Burst with rage, I stood up, "You lied! Don't believe him, it's just another trick!"
Turner retort back, "And why should we be so quick to believe everything you say? How do we know you're not lying to get the staff for yourself?" I was taken aback by his statement.
"So much for the alliance..." Garmadon sigh exasperatedly. I clench my fist, "They believe him over us."
The Ninja's forlornly sit in their seating while wondering where the one and only (Y/n) had gone to.
"Guys, I've been thinking..." Lloyd, Jay and Garmadon turn their attentions to Kai. "What if (Y/n)....is actually one of Chen's spy?" Lloyd frown and retort back, "That's ridiculous! She's one of us. There's no way she would betray her own family."
"He's right, Kai. What made you think that she might be one of Chen's?" asks Garmadon.
"I know it's kind of ridiculous but I've been talking to Skylor AND she also said that the (Y/n) who was with us a few minutes ago was not even real. Don't you guys at least think that it's a little bit suspicious?" exclaim Kai. The others look at each other in unison.
Jay sigh, "Up until now, the thought of (Y/n) betraying us is no more than just a ludicrous thinking from my mind since...you know...her disappearance. But-", a single sweep of a fan cut him off for a while and he brush it off, "-I will never-" his sentence was cut off again by the same sweep, "-gah, I will never point at her anyway." the third time the anonymous fan brush against him, he had enough, "AGHH, would you cut it out!!"
