No One's POV

Clause doubles his inspection before announcing, "Bring in the prisoners." The sound of the drums beating can be heard as all of the Elemental Masters are brought in, gloom clouded their features. Griffin is the first to break the silence, "So the ninjas were right. This was never about any of us winning the tournament. This was always about something much more sinister." Shade snickered, "What gave that away? Was it his cult following, or the giant snakehead?"

As Shade replied to Griffin, Neuro turned towards Jay, "Did you manage to find (Y/n)?" Jay sadly shakes his head, "No...but I founded Nya!" His face brightened back up, "(Y/n) is smart, and I'm sure she founded Nya in some other way. Plus, Lloyd and Sensei Garmadon are still out there, they'll save us!" Jay started humming.

Kai raised an eyebrow, "Why are you humming? You do know they're about to take our powers?" Jay gives a lopsided grin, "Since these cursed shackles have blocked our powers, I choose to use the power of positive thinking. I know Lloyd and the others will come and save us. You just wait. For now, I'm just happy (Y/n) and Nya is not among us."

During their interaction, a small smokey black wisp arrived at the dark corner of the lair. 

~Outside of Chen's lair~

Lloyd, Nya, and Garmadon watch the palace at a distance while (Y/n) focused on her element.  She winced as she struggles to take control. "I'm inside. Chen has brought them all together in his underground lair." Opening her eyes for a brief moment, she continued, "Chen...Chen has taken everyone's power..." (Y/n)'s jaw clenched as her vision was cut off. "Clause's magic broke off my connection. I'm sorry I can't do more. My element is not stable at the moment..." She heaves a heavy sigh. 

Nya pats her on the shoulder, "That is more than enough." Lloyd followed suit. (Y/n) smiles as she put her hands on top of both of her fellow teammates, a sign of gratitude. Lloyd then grimaced, "He knows I'm coming. But I can't just hide here and do nothing..." Nya pondered as she suggests, "We have to wait until nightfall. There's too many." She pointed towards the gate and the compound surrounding the palace, where Chen's goons are on patrol.

"And then what? Every minute we're out here, he grows more powerful and-" (Y/n) takes hold of Lloyd's forearm,  her mouth set in a hard line. "Lloyd." Garmadon nods in understanding, taking hold of both of his shoulders, he gazes into his son's eyes. "Son, Chen grows strong by taking from others. But real power does the opposite. It empowers those around you just as how they empowered you to protect the people who are dear to you." He said as he softly glances at (Y/n). Garmadon silently chuckled, "Like the way you've empowered me."

He softly gave a squeeze, "We will get you to Chen, and you will destroy his staff." The corner of Lloyd's mouth quirked up as the tenseness on his shoulders disappear.

~Back in the underground factory~

The cultist brought the Masters into the factory. "Work!" He shoves them as he yells. Jay intercepted, "No, no. It's not working if you love what you do! The power of positive thinking!" The cultist rolled his eyes as he left them to their shenanigans. Once he is out of sight, Jay was immediately greeted by old friends. "Psst!"

Surprised by the sudden acknowledgment, he looked up as his whole face lit up. "Cole?! Zane!! Is that you?? Oh, you look amazing!" 

Cole gaped like a fish out of water as he cautiously looks left and right. "Not so loud! They think we've escaped and don't know we're here."
