Kai's POV

"Nya! Where are you?!" Shouting her name out loud might not be the best way but what choice do I have. I'm worried someone else might get to her first. Where could she be? Not to mention, (Y/n) is also here with a big wound on her back. "Gahhhh! All this thinking is NOT making my search easier!" 

*crack*

"Nya? Is that you??" Putting my guard up, I advanced towards the direction of the sound. "Whoever's there, I'm warning you, you don't want to play with fire!" My element is at the ready, fired up for a fight.

"It's just me." Skylor showed herself from behind the huge tree trunk. 

"Oh, Skylor." Putting out my element, I asked, "I see you didn't pick up any of Chen's special treats either." 

"Of course not. Like I ever trust him. And I want to find her to help you get the spell and stop Chen once and for all." 

How nice of her, she couldn't be the spy. "Maybe we should be together. Uh, that didn't come out right! I-I mean, what I'm trying to say is-"

"You want me to help you find your sister. Of course, I'll follow you." Well, that was a big failure. Damn it, Kai! Keep it together! 

"Ahahaha, it's good to work with people you trust!" Skylor reached out for my hand. "Yes, I couldn't agree more." 

I smiled, "Yeah, she can't be the spy."  

"Alright, let's go-" A big explosion goes off, and a cloud of black smoke appeared. "Wha- that could be Nya, come on!" 

I ran toward the explosion, crossing the marsh in a hurry when Skylor chimes in, "Let me! I have a faster way!" Skylor conjures up a ball of ice before freezing the whole marsh. I softly gasp with shock.

Skylor slides across the now frozen marsh with ease as she stopped in front of me, "What are you waiting for? Your friends could be in trouble."

Trying to find my words I stated, "How did you just do that?"

"I can absorb elemental power." She replied.

"But the ice, Zane has never been to the tournament." I furrowed my eyebrows and scrutinize, "You're the SPY!" I can't believe this, all this time and the source has always been her. (Y/n)...she's innocent, oh god.

"You've seen Zane! You're working for Chen! And I...I trusted you!"

Guilt crossed her face, "I...had to obey my father or els-"

"Chen is your father??!" I felt as if I've been double slapped by reality.

"Yes~!" Chen appeared in smoke as I lost my footing on the ice. I scrambled to get up. "And now your time in the tournament is over Master of Fire. Take him, Skylor!"

Jay's POV

"Ugh...wrists...tired...must keep looking..." I've scoured the whole jungle searching for at least a glimpse of Nya or (Y/n) but I ended up with nothing. I'm worried about Nya, and I have to warn (Y/n) about Chen's plan. 

The cameras, they're facing the same direction not to monitor someone but to target someone from afar. "Where are you, (Y/n)? Chen has been setting up his trap for you..." Just as I was about to lose hope, I come across a familiar mark on a tree. The Samurai X symbol. "Nya!" I was filled with joy but it only lasts for a bit.
