Ninjago x Reader~Tragedy (Chapter 3)

Zane's POV

"Hey guys...what is it this time?" (Y/n) ask. "Oh, hello (Y/n). The Serpentine are making their moves but we can't get their motives in doing these. It really starting to drive us crazy." I started pacing around the room. "Zane relax...we'll get them...sooner or later.." (Y/n) squeeze my hand as a sign to calm down. Her comforting voice really helps me a lot. These past few month we really got to know each other better. There's something about her that makes me feel whole. I'm glad we found her...she's like a sister I never had.

(Y/N)'s POV

My head feels like it's going to split in two. I groan as the headache starts to get worse and worse. "(Y/N), are you alright? You look pale..." I look at Nya. Concern written on her face. "No...I'm fine. I just need a little rest that's all.." "Are you sure? If you want I can make you some herbal tea to help you get better," said Nya. "Thanks, Nya. I owe you one." "No problem. You can always count on me. Now you go and rest while I'll make some tea." "Alright." I left the room and walk towards my bedroom besides Nya's room. "Ughh...these headache really is the worst I ever had." I was about to turn the door knob when suddenly my eyesight starts to go blurry and I was out cold. When I woke back up...I'm no longer on the Bounty.

~A really long time skip~

It's been 2 years since (Y/N) vanish without a trace. Nya cried nonstop for a few days after the disappearance of (Y/N) and continue her daily life in hope that (Y/n) is alive. The same goes for the ninjas.

A lot of things happened and every time they end their missions with success, they also became sadden since the (h/c) girl is not there to join in with their celebration. Days went by....they accept the fact that (Y/n) is gone and move on with their life.

Until this one fateful day....

~The Present~

No one's POV

They've been invited by Master Chen to compete in the Tournament of the Element while saying that Zane is still alive but is in his hands. They're on their way to the location of the tournament.

"Man, when is this ship going to dock. I'll die if I stay another day on this ship." "Ughh...stop being a baby, Jay. Nya doesn't even whine." said Kai. "Hey, dad. Is there other people who have elemental powers like us?" Lloyd asked. Garmadon look at his son and said, "Yes, there are many. You can see the other contestants here are descendants of the Elemental Masters, guardians of the First Spinjitzu Master. By now you should already know we are not the only ones with elemental power considering the friend you lost had the forgotten elemental one. It's a shame. I consider her as my daughter." (Yeah, you had met Garmadon before and hold a special place in his heart. Just go with it.)

Nya chuckle, "Right, more like daughter-in-law." Lloyd's face burst different color of shade in embarrassment. "Nya!!" Cole, Kai and Lloyd said in unison. Realizing that, they glare with each other. Garmadon laugh. "Come to think of it...we never get to know her elemental power." said Jay. Everyone look at him. "What??"

"That's kind of true." said Lloyd.

"I missed her." said Nya.

"We all do." said Cole.

"......" Kai stay silent. Having flashback through the time he spend with (Y/n).

"Well it's no use dwelling on the past. Let's win this sad excuse of a tournament for (Y/n) and Zane." said Kai with determination burning in his eyes. Smiles sketch on everyone's faces. "Yeah!"

???'s POV

"They didn't change one bit. I'm glad," I smile. "Hey, you!" I cock my head towards the voice. "Yeah, you in the hood! Sign your name here. We'll dock tomorrow morning."

Well, I didn't know it will come down to this. I sigh and sign my name on the paper.

In the name of friendship, I'll do it. As a gift for leaving you guys for so long.

Nya said goodbye to them saying she'll join them later after she fixed their beloved Bounty.

No one's POV

"Welcome to Chen's Island. The Tournament of Elements welcome it's brave fighters. Master Chen would be please of your return, Sensei Garmadon." said Clause welcoming them.

"The pleasure is all mine, Clause." Garmadon reply.

"I'm sure it is." said Clause grumpily. He walk away.

The ninja approach Garmadon. Jay is the first to break the silence. "Uhh, definitely feels the tension between you two." "Yeah and how is it on an island I've never seen on the map." said Kai. "And care to explain how the face of Ninjago most popular noodle house is secretly simulating an underground fighting tournament." counter Cole.

Garmadon reply, "Master Chen used to be a friend, now he's a traitor. During the Serpentine wars, Chen turned against his own kind and sided with a treacherous snake." "Wait..wait..so he was an enemy?!" said Lloyd. Garmadon continue, "He used deception to divide the Elemental Masters and barely defeat the Serpentine. And in a deal for his surrender Chen was to never leave this island. Little did we know, he began to built his criminal empire in here." Lloyd counter again "He might have divided our ancestors, but he's not gonna divide us."

Kai turn his attention towards Skylor, "Uh, ladies first." Skylor nod. "Fire will melt her icy heart. Just you wait." Every one groan. "Ugh, this again." said Cole.

???'s POV

I overheard them talking. It's easy to hear what their talking about because of their loud voice. Seriously, they never learn. Typical flame ninja. Always trying to look cool. I silently chuckle as I recall back a memory.

No one's POV

As they approach the island's gate, Cole realize how big the island is and said, "This is a big island. Zane could be anywhere. We have to keep an eye out."

They've been sat in semicircle. The drum-roll began and Chen make his entrance.

After an eternity of insults and welcoming, Chen send all the contestants to their room but not before glancing towards the one and only bearer of the forbidden elemental.
