???'s POV

I watch as the kabuki take each contestant by the hand. I'm surprised to find someone familiar. It's Nya. 'What is she doing, dressing as a Kabuki?' I thought to myself. 'Unless...' I grinned getting her plan.

"Great, just what this place needs. Creepy clowns..." said Jay.

"Not clowns...Kabuki. They're Chen's jesters." Garmadon counter.

"Yeah, whatever they are, I don't like 'em," said Cole being drag by one of the Kabuki. "So much for staying together."

"Just stay focus, ninjas." said Garmadon.

???'s POV

"What the-my room it's so...gloomy..." the theme looks like it came out straight from Halloween Day. 'Ugh, just because I keep my identity secret and wears dark clothing doesn't mean I like it this way.' I sigh. 'I'm sure Cole is stuffing his mouth with food right now. I wonder when the first event will start. I gonna go and lay down for a bit.' I sweatdrop. "A coffin? For bed? Really? Now they're just messing with me." I shrug and lay down. At least the bathroom is awesome. Just as I was about to shut my eyelids, Chen's voice ring throughout the place.'Just in time.'

"HELLO, FIGHTERS! HIDDEN AROUND MY ISLAND ARE ENOUGH JADE BLADES FOR EVERY PARTICIPANT ACCEPT FOR ONE! THE ONE WHO RETURNS TO THE ARENA EMPTY HANDED, LOSES! THE TOURNAMENT BEGINS~NOW!"

I sigh and start my search for a Jade Blade. "I can't lose now." Just as I finish talking a Jade Blade fly through my door almost cutting my head off. "Hey! What a coincidence! They are making this tournament easy for me!" I grin in victory. I said it a little bit sooner because a while later, Lloyd burst through the door saying, "Hey, that blade is mine!" followed by the others.

'Let's do this!' I stand in my battle stance.

"MAY THE BEST FIGHTER WINS! HEHEHAHAHAHAHA!"

Cole's POV

"Huh?" I saw Lloyd fighting a hooded guy. 'That stance....it seems familiar. Where did I saw it before?' I didn't get to finish my thought. "Hah! Too slow, rocky boy!" and he ran off. "Hey!" He took my blade. He's too fast for me to catch up. Ugh, I think I eat too much noodles. I'm gonna hurl. "Oh, hey! Another Jade Blade! Lucky! Ugh, stomach cramp!"

Lloyd's POV

Man, this guy is fast. He didn't even use his elemental power. "Ninja...Go!" I thought I had him but he counter it with his own Spinjitzu. That really got me distracted. Who is this guy? Where did he learn the Spinjitzu? "Who are you?" I ask him. There's an intense tension between us. "Me? You'll find out sooner or later Lloyd. I know why you're here. Say hi to Nya and your father for me." He smoke bomb out of my sight. I need to talk about this with Dad. If he knows Nya, he must be someone we knew.

At the arena...

No one's POV

"Only two left." said Chen cue Cole arriving with the Jade Blade. "Wait! I have one," he looks around searching for someone. "Where's Kai?" At the same time, they hear heavy footsteps approaching their destination. The ninjas hold their breaths. There stood Karlof, a Jade Blade in his hand. "HAHAHA! Karlof wins!" The ninjas look towards each other while the others cheer for Karlof's success but in the nick of a time Kai take the Jade Blade by unscrewing the metal elemental bearer's mechanical hand.

"Heh, looks like you've got a screw loose." Kai quickly fly across the room and place the Jade Blade to its rightful place. The cheers erupt once again but this time join by the ninjas. "We have a loser!" exclaim Chen. Karlof picks up his mechanical arm, "That's not fair. He cheated!" pointing towards Kai. "I did what I have to do!" counter Kai. Garmadon disagrees, "That is not how you win." facing towards Kai. "Fine, I lose. Karlof don't even want to be on this stinkin' island!"

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. I guess this work out for the best. This is...bye-bye!" Chen press a button that opens a trapdoor underneath Karlof. Karlof shout as he fell and his voice started to become faint.

"As you can see, lose and you are out! Breaking a rule and you are out! Never bites the hands that feeds you, courtesy yours truly!" Lloyd looks around the arena. 'Where is he?' he thought to himself. "Lloyd, focus." exclaim Garmadon. "Sorry, Dad," Lloyd replied.

"Now rest up. Tomorrow the tournament will recommence!" said Chen.

On break....

"Hmm...at least the chow's good." said Cole. "Gah, it's killing me. I keep wondering what's under the trapdoor. What happen when you lose?!" said Jay. "Do not think about that." counter Garmadon. "It's all I can think about. I moved on. I feel guilt. These are not good feelings." "You think you feel bad. Imagine what I feel. Our mission is simple, tonight, we find Zane and get off this crazy island." Kai exclaim.

"And just how are we supposed to do that? You heard Chen, break a rule and we're out. He's not gonna let us roam around." said Cole. "Then, it's a good thing we're ninjas. Meet me in my room at midnight." said Kai. As they talk, the Elemental Master of Light, Mr. Pale approach their table. "Do you mind if I join you?" Jay counter, "Disappear, pal. This is private." Mr. Pale clothes become transparent making him invincible. Jay sigh, "I know you're still here. I can see your lunch tray."

They all watch as Mr. Pale walk away. Cole break the silence, "Wow, Jay. You're really mean." "How am I suppose to know if we can trust him. See, what this island is doing to me? It's corrupting me! It has to stop! We'll stick to Kai's plan." Kai glance towards Lloyd. "Hey, Lloyd. Why are you being quiet? Do you get that? " "Huh, what? Yeah...yeah sure."

Garmadon ask, "Are you alright Lloyd? You seem distracted since in the arena." "Yeah, I saw you looking around. Is there something bothering you?" said Jay. "I kind of want to tell you guys something. Do you remember the guy that I fought with to get the Jade Blade recently?" Cole exclaim, "Yeah, at least I did. The hooded guy. What about him?" "Well, he knows how to do Spinjitzu."

"WHAT?!" everyone said in unison. "But that's impossible. There's should only be six of us excluding the Senseis and that should be Kai, Cole, Lloyd, Zane, Nya and me." said Jay. Cole counter, "You forgot someone." "Who?!" said Jay. "(Y/n)..."
