Lloyd's POV

I still don't understand why Jay keeps grinning at me like that. "For the last time, Jay, do you need something?" Jay shakes his head and said, "Oh no no, I got everything that I need to know. Hahahaha!" I glance at my father. He shakes his head, palm enclosed on his face, and mutters to himself. "Did...something happen, dad?" Both Jay and Garmadon flinched on their seat. I raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

"Of course everything is fine, Lloyd!" Jay said in a hurry. "Suuuure, that doesn't seem suspicious..." I replied. Garmadon rubs his face, "(Y/n) disappeared without a clue to her whereabouts. I'm a tad bit worried..." I frowned, "I'm worried too. I should've kept an eye on her when she's still passed out." Seeing my dad's fretting, I know there is more behind his statement. I was about to ask when Chen's voice reverberate across the room.

"HELLO FIGHTERS! PLEASE DRAG YOURSELVES TO THE WAITING AREA! WE ARE NOW GOING FOR A FLY! HAHAHA!"

We all share a suspicious look while Neuro turns deadly pale.

(Y/n)'s POV

I need to find Nya right now. She could be in trouble! I flinch as the burn behind my back rub against the bandages I wrapped around myself. I look around the foliage, hoping to find some clue as to where she is now. No sooner than that, I saw her carving near a tree a few meters away from me. I was about to call out to her when I caught myself stuck in quicksand, I glance back her way, "I can't direct any attention to her."

By the time I manage to get myself out of the sand, she was already gone. I rubbed my face and groans. "This is going to be a longgggg day." I walk past the tree where Nya once was when I see a discrete carving of Samurai X. I trace the carving using the end of my fingertip. "Smart girl..."

I follow the mark she left and hopefully I can get to her before anyone else does.

No One's POV

High in the sky are the final eight elemental master who passes the tournament challenges. Jay gives Turner a stinky-eye, "What are you looking at, dippy?" Turner counters him with a poker face, "The next guy who's gonna be out of the tournament." Jay laughs it out, but inside he is fuming. He cradles his sprained ankle. Kai takes his turn with Shade. With all the commotion aside, Lloyd eyed Neuro who is getting paler by the minute. "Neuro, I don't think you could get any paler than this."

Neuro snort, "We're better off surviving on the ground rather than up here. Chen is up to something." Before Lloyd could reply, Garmadon joins in, "Tensions are high." Lloyd turns his attention towards the small window beside him, "Yeah, but not as high as we are now. I can hardly see the island from up here." Neuro gets up with a jolt, panicking, "Ah! I've had enough of this! I can't stand heights! Where's Chen?!" He goes straight to the cockpit only to find it empty. Panic starts to reside in him when Chen appears in the computer panel.

"How do I know this thing's on?? Ooh, I see the light-Oh what?? I'm on?? Right now??!" Chen clears his throat and exclaims, "HELLO FINAL EIGHT! I SEE YOU'RE ALL EAGER FOR THE TOURNAMENT TO COMMENCE SO ONE OF YOU CAN WIN MY STAFF OF ELEMENTS! INSTEAD OF FIGHTING FOR THE JADE BLADE... YOU'LL BE FIGHTING FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT!"
