(Y/n)'s POV

I conjure up another wisp as it playfully whips around me. Sensei Garmadon makes his way towards me, "Your element is alluring, (Y/n)." I sigh, "I know nothing of it, Sensei. What if-what if it is something...bad?" Garmadon shakes his head, "An element follows as much as its bearer. If your heart desires something dark, then it will be a force to be reckoned with. But I see you, your intentions are pure. That is why the Black Jet chose you as its next successor." As I absorb Sensei's words of wisdom, the wisp faded into the tip of my finger and I grin. "Now let's go get the Masters out of Chen's hands."

As we get ready for the rescue, Sensei Garmadon reminds Lloyd of our plan. "Remember, destroy the staff, and everyone's power returns. You came here to make your team a whole. Finish the job." Lloyd nodded.

I bit my lips, I have a very bad feeling about this...

No One's POV

(Y/n), Nya, Lloyd, and Garmadon sneak in through the front gate. They work in sync until they arrived at the inner hallway of the palace. (Y/n) tried to use her element for night vision before Garmadon stopped her. He speaks in a whisper, "If you use more of your element without your other half, the circumstances will be bad, (Y/n)." She hung her head and sigh, "Alright, but do be careful-" An alarm cut her off, Lloyd has accidentally activated the alarm, alerting the Cultists who are on duty.

They put up their guard, "There's too many of them!"

Nya does a split kick sending both of the cultists to the ground. "I'll hold them! You three, find Chen!"

Racing against time, the others went ahead. Just as they escape Chen's goon, a blast of magic comes straight for them. (Y/n) shouted, "Look out!" (Y/n) veered left and use the wall as her footing before using the decoration to block blast after blast that was aimed at Garmadon and Lloyd.

Clause finally revealed himself. Garmadon narrowed his eyes, "Go, both of you. Leave Clause to me." Lloyd and (Y/n) exchange glances before nodding, "Good luck." Said Lloyd.

Clause laughs, "Your father doesn't believe in luck."

"I know. I wasn't talking to him." Lloyd retaliates before leaving, (Y/n) at his heel.

Clause catches her eyes before mouthing, "We'll get a better use for you yet." She glares at him before breaking off her gaze to focus on her mission at hand.

Running side by side with Lloyd, (Y/n) starts to slow down. "Wait! Lloyd, the area is too quiet! I don't think we should continue down this way!"

Slowing down his pace, Lloyd said, "Then what do you suggest we should-" His sentence was cut short when a trapdoor open and he fell. "Ahh!" "Lloyd!" Quick on her feet, (Y/n) jumps and reaches for him.

"Why did you jump?!" Lloyd shouted. Holding each other, they brace for impact. As they reach the ground, Lloyd rolls to lessen the collision. The rolling stop when they hit the wall.

Lloyd moans in pain as (Y/n) laughs, "Ugh..."

"Hahaha! I'm...soo sorry, Lloyd! Are you okay?"

She stops laughing when she realizes the position they're in. Due to Lloyd's effort to make sure she's not harmed, she ended up on top of him. His arms are protectively slipped around her waist. Lloyd replied, oblivious to the situation, "Yeah...I'm good."

(Y/n) hastily gets off, offering him a hand. "Thanks." Lloyd dust off the dirt that got on his gi. Putting a distance between them, (Y/n) went ahead, thankful for the absence of light. "Chen and his trapdoors." Lloyd whines, (Y/n) replies, "Tell me about it. It's a classic but efficient way to catch someone."
