Ch. 21

Chapter 21

Luke's POV

 "Okay, every single one of you have the same story so I believe it all. So, if you don't mind I will have an assembly?" Vice Principal Jorden asked. 

"I don't mind," Luke answered. 

"Okay, if you guys do not want to be there you don't have to. I can give you a school excuse to go home if you'd like," she said to us. 

"That sounds awesome," Calum, Ashton, and I said in unison.

"Okay, well you guys can go get your  things and you can go home. Do you have a car?"

"No, my neighbor works next door, she brings us," I explained. 

"Okay, I will drive you. I have a minivan for my kids so there should be enough room," she said smiling. "Go get your things and come back here."

We all nodded and walked toward our lockers. I got all the make-up homework and put it in my backpack. I looked at Luke and he looked like he was about to cry.  

"Babe, it's okay," I said hugging him. He nodded and hugged me tightly. I pecked his lips and shut my locker. We intertwined our fingers and walked through the hallway. We met with the others and piled into Vice Principal Jorden's van. We gave her directions and she dropped us off at the boys house. 

"Thank you, Vice Principal Jorden!!!" Ali said after we got out. 

"You're welcome!!! Just call me Mrs. Jorden!!!" she answered back. 

We walked into their house and Luke and I walked into his room. 

"I just want to lay in bed and cuddle with you," he said plopping onto the bed. 

"But you promised me something," I said back, smirking at him. 

"What?"

"You said, and I quote 'me and you will lay in my bed and watch movies as soon as we get home."'

"We can, but I will probably fall asleep," he said yawning. I kissed his forehead and put in White Chicks. I walked over to the bed and laid beside Luke. He turned to face me and buried his face in my neck. 

"I love you," he whispered. 

"I love you too," I whispered back. Not long after, he fell sound asleep.

"Lesley, Luke, lunch is ready," Ash said from the door. 

"Okay," I said back. I snaked out of Luke's arms and walked downstairs. Calum, Ali, and Mickey were all sitting at the table while Ashton finished cooking. 

"What are y'all up to?" I asked. 

"Homework," they all said in unison. 

"May I join?" I asked. 

"You smart?" Cal asked. 

"Straight A's."

"Yes, you can join. We need help," Mikey said laughing. I grabbed my bag and sat beside Mikey. We all finished up the homework and started eating. 

"You know what I hate?" Ali asked to all of us.

"What?" we all said in unison.

"Dallas." she said in a very matter-of-fact way.

"Don't we all. Preach it honey." Mikey said, putting his hands up in the air laughing.

"Don't call her 'honey' Mikey, she's mine." Calum said, glaring across the table at him.

"Chillllllllllll." Ali said, calming him down.

"It sure seems as if you do hate him, seeming as you slapped him." I said, remembering that great day.

"Eh, I would do it again." she said, flipping her hair over her shoulder.

"Not if he gets expelled." Calum said.

"Hopefully he does. He's a douche." I said.

"More than that. I would say more but you know, I'm working on my character." Ali said, laughing.

"Psshh, whatever. Girl, no you isn't. You is perf." Calum said, flicking his wrist at her as if to say 'As if'.

"Well, I try." she says.

"Try a little harder." I said, laughing at her and winking to let her know im joking.

"Ohhhhh, burn b*tch!" Mikey said laughing, covering his mouth with his hands.

"Hey." she said glaring at me.

"I'm kidding, you know I love you." I said.

"B*tch, I know." she said winking back.

"Aye, don't swear." Ashton said, finally talking after remaining silent for the whole conversation.

"We can do what we want, we're punk rock." Ali and Michael said in unison, then turning to look at each other and gasp in amazement.

"Okay, now Ali and Michael, now its your turn to chill." Calum said smirking at her.

"Oh, shut up." she said.

We were sitting in the living room, watching a movie when Luke's house phone rang.

"Hello?" he said.

"Oh hi, Mrs. Jorden." he said, putting her on speaker so we could all hear her.

"I just want to inform you all that Dallas will not be a problem for you all anymore. As I started the assembly and started asking if anyone would want to confess before we had to question each student individually if nobody confessed, he confessed right away. I ended the assembly soon after, and took him to my office and talked to him for a long time. Then I told him the consequence; being suspended for the rest of the week, and he has to 20 hours of community service before he can come back to school. If he tries anything like that again, he will be expelled. You have to tell me if he does or says anything to you all of that sort. And that being said, anybody that does anything or says anything that is related to this, they will be written up immediately. This was all just a big misunderstanding." she said.

"Oh my gosh, thank you Mrs. Jorden!!" I exclaimed.

Dad's gone.

Dallas cant bother me anymore, or any of us for that matter.

I'm surrounded by people I love.

Life is pretty great.
