Steve and Bucky made their way through the Siberian HYDRA base - a place Bucky knew quite well. He was armed with one of Natasha's rifles and led the way, Steve following closely behind him. They knew Helmut Zemo was in the base so they moved with caution.

Bucky led Steve through the dim concrete corridors, checking around every corner. They made their way up a flight of steps, cautious of what was ahead. Suddenly, a large bang was heard from behind them. They both quickly turned, Steve tucking behind his shield while Bucky aimed at a large metal door that was behind them. Their hearts were pounding, not knowing if Zemo or the elite assassins were trying to break through.

The metal creaked, "You ready?" Steve spoke.

"Yeah."

The metal doors were pulled a part. Steve felt everything within him jump but it was neither Zemo or the Winter Soldiers - it was Tony. Steve felt his shoulders release the tension as he let out a shaky breath.

Tony stepped into the corridor, removing the helmet from his face, revealing his bruises. Steve stepped down from the stairs, walking toward Tony, not knowing whether to attack or defend. He was waiting for Tony to make the first move.

Tony looked around quickly before setting his focus on Steve, "You seem a little defensive."

Steve continued to walk toward Tony while Bucky remained perched on the stairs continuing to aim his weapon. "It's been a long day." Steve responded.

Tony noticed Bucky's aim, "At ease, Solider. I'm not currently after you."

"Then why are you here?" Steve asked, continuing to hold his shield high, guarding his body.

Tony walked up to Steve, "Could be your story's not so crazy. Maybe. Ross has no idea I'm here. I'd like to keep it that way." Tony walked to the side, leaning against the wall, "Otherwise I gotta arrest myself."

"Well, that sounds like a lot of paperwork." Steve responded. Tony scoffed in response. Steve lowered his shield, "It's good to see you, Tony."

"You too, Cap." Tony looked back to Bucky, who still aimed his weapon at Tony, "Hey, Manchurian Candidate, you're killing me. There's a truce here. You can drop - "

Steve gave Bucky a comforting look while signaling for Bucky to drop his aim. The trio joined forces to find Zemo. The adrenaline began pumping through their veins the further they made it into the compound.

Tony led the way, leading Bucky and Steve to the room where Bucky would endure relentless torture from HYDRA. The chair he sat in was still in the spot where it had been for the last century. Four cryostasis chambers were perched around the room, each housing a Winter Soldier. "I got heat signatures." Tony spoke, holding his palm out looking around the room feeling his heart beat faster.

"How many?" Steve asked from behind Tony, clutching onto his shield tightly.

"Uh," Tony spoke, "Two."

Bucky furrowed his brows to Steve. He believed that Zemo must be present and the other had to be a risen Solider, but why haven't they been attacked yet.

Bucky felt his heart rate increase as they stepped further into the room. He held his weapon high, ready to shoot at anyone that approached them. The chair sent a shiver up his spine, but he remained alert. The stakes were too high to be worrying about the past.

Steve, Tony and Bucky stood side by side, looking around the room. The chambers were darkened, Bucky being unable to see if they were occupied. Suddenly a loud click sounded throughout the room. The chambers began to light up in yellow, revealing the remaining Soldiers sat in chairs in their respective chamber. Cool puffs of vapor were being emitted from the chambers, meaning that the Soldiers were still frozen.
