The late Spring sun beat down on Steve as he worked out in the backyard - the same old punching bag, but additional weights that the couple bought more recently. He punched and punched, letting out any frustration he had.

From inside, he heard running footsteps, almost as if someone was being chased or attacked. Steve stopped what he was doing, glancing through the window into the kitchen. He watched as Katherine ran from upstairs, down the hall and burst through the kitchen and out the backdoor. She stood in front of Steve, panting from her little outburst of energy. Her phone was clutched tightly by her side, a huge grin on her face. "It's a girl."

Katherine and Steve walked through the halls of the hospital, their hands intertwined. Steve clutched onto a large teddy bear in his free hand. They were in search for room 102 - asking a friendly nurse along the way for directions. Eventually they found the room. Inside, Pepper sat propped up in the bed, centered in the middle of the room. Tony sat in an armchair beside her, a pink bundle held in his hands.

Katherine let go of Steve's hand, entering first. Katherine's eyes were fixated at the bundle in Tony's arms, "Oh my -" Katherine gasped, getting both Pepper and Tony's attention. The pair looked to Katherine, smiles on their faces. "Congratulations." Katherine approached Pepper, kissing her on the cheek.

Tony got to his feet, proud. He showed the small baby that was cradled in his arms. She was soft, cute, brown wisps of hair perched on her head. She was happily sleeping. "She looks just like you."

Katherine shot her eyes to Tony. Her heart melting under his words. "Have you guys picked a name?" She looked between the pair.

"Morgan." Pepper smiled.

Steve perched the teddy bear in the corner of the room. He approached Pepper, kissing her on the cheek and then coming up behind Katherine, taking in little Morgan. "She is so precious." Steve spoke softly, placing a hand on Katherine's shoulder.

"Do you want to hold her?" Tony asked.

Katherine's eyes widened, "Yeah, sure." Katherine held out her arms as Tony gently placed the baby in the arms of her aunt. She was warm, tiny. Tony resumed his seat beside Pepper, taking her hand in his. His pride was glowing.

Katherine gently rubbed her finger along Morgan's cheek, "I can't believe you're here." She spoke softly, knowing that Morgan won't remember this conversation, "I'm going to take good care of you."

Katherine rushed around the bedroom, frantic for being late. Katherine pressed one diamond earring into her ear, looking around for the other. Steve remained downstairs, cleaning up after their usual Sunday morning pancakes - blueberry. "Steve!" Katherine called, hearing Steve clash pans and utensils together in an attempt to put them away, "Steve!" Katherine called again, checking in the drawers of her the vanity table and in her chest of drawers, "Have you seen my other earring?" She called.

"What?" Steve questioned, putting the dishes away with a clashing of metal.

Katherine approached her bedside table. They were a pair of diamond earrings Pepper gifted her for Christmas and wanted to wear them on their visit to the cabin. It had been a month since Steve had seen Morgan, a fortnight since Katherine has. Katherine began travelling to the cabin more frequently, visiting the latest addition to the Stark family. Morgan was coming up on two months old - fascinating Katherine how fast time was passing by her.
