Katherine stood over the sink of bubbles, scrubbing pots and pans. She then let them drain on the draining board beside her, the suds seeping from the freshly washed dishes. Katherine looked out the large window overlooking the backyard.

Steve stood in the backyard, punching the punching bag the pair set up on the patio. It hung from a pole sticking from the wall of the house. Steve often found himself sparring with the bag, the house not facilitating a gym opposed to the Compound but it was manageable.

After a mighty effort and lengthy session, Steve surrendered and retired from the bag for the evening. He made his way back into the kitchen, greeting Katherine with a peck on her cheek despite only being outside for no more than an hour, "Hey." He said through heavy breaths, sweaty pumping from his pores.

Katherine flinched away from the sweaty man, drying the suddy dishes with a towel, "Ew. Go shower." She said through a giggle.

"You could always join me."

Katherine stopped what she was doing and looked to Steve with a smile. She thought about it for a moment, "I can't." She sighed, "I've to finish cleaning up here and then I've to get movie night set up."

Steve sighed, swinging his head back and rolling his eyes. "Fine, it better be a good movie."

Katherine tidied away the dishes from dinner and retrieved all of the essentials for their routinely movie night on a Tuesday and Friday night. Steve kept a notebook of popular culture that he had missed in the seventy years that he had been in the ice, likewise, Katherine was always recommended movies from Peter, due to missing two decades of her life. He compiled a list of must-see movies for Katherine to watch - some should have been watched together but Katherine didn't want to dwell on Peter being snapped too much.

Katherine gathered the essentials - popcorn, chocolate, wine, a fluffy blanket, DVDs and lit the candles and fire in the living room. Katherine awaited Steve's arrival, tucking under the blanket in the meantime. Steve soon entered the living room, smiling at the effort Katherine had put in. Katherine sat cross-legged on the couch, noticing the arrival of Steve, "Oh good." She spoke, leaning forward and grabbing two DVDs from the coffee table. Steve sat down beside Katherine, draping the blanket over his lap, turning to her. He placed a hand on her thigh looking between the two DVDs Katherine held up. "These are both Peter's suggestions." She smiled.

Steve was stumped, in one hand Katherine held a DVD titled 'Mean Girls' and in the other hand held, 'Titanic'. Steve held his fingers to his chin, taking particular interest in the latter, "I remember when the Titanic sank." Steve spoke, looking at the DVD cover of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

Katherine immediately dropped her hands, looking to Steve with shock, "You are not that old." She furrowed her brows to him questioning his statement but also couldn't be too sure.

Steve burst out into laughter, "No. But almost."

"When were you born?"

Steve hesitated for a moment, "You really want to know?" Katherine nodded her head in response, "I was born July 4th 1918."

Katherine scoffed, rolling her eyes, "Of course you born on the Fourth of July, Captain America."

"Shut up and put the movie on." Steve chuckled picking up the Titanic DVD and handing it to Katherine. Katherine was happy with his choice, finally watching a chick flick for their movie night. Most of their movies consisted of Star Wars, Goodfellas, Jaws and anything that won Best Picture at the Academy Awards between 1992 and 2010.

She jumped from the couch with the DVD in hand and placed it into the DVD player, the movie beginning to play on the plasma screen above the fire place. On her return to her seat, she grabbed the two wine glasses from the table, along with the wine bottle. She sat down beside Steve, stretching her legs across his lap. He placed a soothing hand on her leg. She poured wine into each glass before placing the bottle back on the table. She reached out and grabbed the bowl of freshly microwaved popcorn and placed it in her lap.
