"I was wondering how long it'd take for you to figure it out." My mother approaches from the shadows. "Welcome to the room of dark objects buried deep inside Hogwarts."
What the—
"You really think I was supposed to be killed for no reason?" She gives me a devilish smirk.
"Why am I here exactly?" I ask crossing my arms trying not to show my fear.
"Because you're the one who killed me," She picks up a black and silver dagger from one of the posts. "Or was supposed to."
"That doesn't answer my question."
"You see sweetheart," She places the dagger in my hair, moving it off my shoulder, as she walks around me. "I'm evil, worse than Voldemort and Bellatrix combined. You really think Serenity would be such an awful child if she was Snapes daughter?"
Realization hits me.
Bellatrix has a soft spot for Serenity, Voldemort favors her—she's just as crazy as him—and why she's with Draco. If he's with her Lucius would be pardoned for all his failures.
"So, you had an affair with a nose-less monster?" I say unimpressed.
"Oh, honey." She fake pouts, "In this time line he's still Tom Riddle. Just older and hotter." She smiles to herself.
"Bellatrix must be going insane." I give her a tight-lipped smile.
She takes the dagger placing back on the podium closing the glass casing.
"Oh, she knows not to open her mouth. If you disrespect the Dark Lords daughter, you disrespect the Dark Lord. Bella knows better than to pout."
"What about Archer? He's, her twin." I ask taking a step closer to my mother.
"Oh Archer, he's was an accident. Slept with two men each fertilizing a different egg. But I won't bore you with the talk of the birds and the bees. I'm sure when you were with Draco you were very aware of how it works." She gives me a sly smirk.
"How do you know so much about my real past?" I ask getting angrier by the second. The impulse to whip out my wand and hex her getting stronger.
"You aren't the only one with a time turner." She pulls the necklace out of her robes. "There's five total. One to change your past, one to watch your past, one to redo your past, and one that brings you to the future. You've used two. One to relive your past and one to change it."
"That makes no sense, three time turners that all do the same thing, one more, and that's only four?"
She shakes her head at me, "You stupid little girl, one lets you be in your body at that time and one that allows you to be in two places at once. And there is five because in this time period that Mudblood never let you borrow her turner."
"Don't call her that." I clench my fists at my sides.
"What a Mudblood?" She says sounding like Bellatrix.
"Yes, that." I notice another dagger in the case next to me. It's blue and gold, the blade is silver and shaped in waves, if I stabbed someone hard enough, they'd be dead. "You know you aren't at all how dad would describe you to me as a child."
"Really how would he describe me." She finally looks away from me inspecting the other dark objects.
Big mistake, mother.
"He would talk about how kind you were, how nurturing you'd be," I make my way to the case while she isn't watching to grab the dagger. "Used to tell me the story of how you met. Lily was with James and he was a broken shell of man. Always alone, no one to talk to. Then one day this Gryffindor girl came up to him and asked for his help in potions. He always mentioned her locks of golden brown hair and her deep green eyes how they reminded him of view of the green water of the lake from the common room windows." I slowly open the casing ensuring she isn't staring at me as I reach in the case sliding the dagger off the podium. "Her kind personality brought him away from the darkness he began to feel when his precious Lily Evans chose his bully over him."
"Sounds like he was truly in love with her." She says.
"Oh, he was." I carefully ready myself holding the dagger, "But he could never truly get over his precious. Lily. Evans." She looks at me with a scornful look as the dagger is released from my hand, hurtling towards the woman before me.
She stands still as the dagger races towards her. I think I've got her when the blade stops two inches from her face. She holds up two fingers moving it away from her face letting it clatter the floor. My eyes go wide as the dagger falls to the floor. The sound making me wince in defeat.
"You stupid naïve little girl." My mother laughs. She summons another dagger to her hand. "I wonder how quickly this one could kill you." She gives me a sly smirk before shooting the dagger straight for me.
It hits me right in the stomach. I grab the handle of the knife attempting to keep myself upright. I can feel the poison dancing into my veins.
Celeste walks up to me getting in my face.
"You're a very stupid little girl. It's sad you survived the first time I was killed. You were supposed to die that night too. After sixteen years you'll finally be gone, Serenity will seal hers and Draco's fate. Rule the death eaters and you won't be alive to stop them or go back in time to kill me."
"Why are you doing this?" I mutter out trying to ignore the pain.
"Because you," She shoves the dagger further into me causing blood to spill from my mouth. "Are the snag in the time line. Without you we can win the war, without you Harry dies." She twists the dagger pushing me to the floor. "Have a nice sleep, Aurora, fitting don't you think?" She looks down on me, "Sleeping beauty. You look like her, sucks you won't wake from a kiss from your prince. Last I checked he hates you. I made sure of that." She smirks stepping over me leaving me writhing on the floor.
"H—h—help." Is all I can muster out before it all goes black."
I'm sorry....🤭
