Draco's POV
It's been eating away at me for weeks.
The thought of Celeste possibly being the one who did this is slowly eating away at me. Whenever I look at Serenity all I see is Celeste's face.
How could a mother do that to her child?
It's not like my fathers any different...
I should have respect for what she's done. She's proved herself to be a vicious Death Eater. Over and over again.
I should following in her footsteps. Not debunking her actions.
I stole the dagger once she left the hospital wing.
No one can know that it belongs to my aunt.
No one.
It's bad enough she escaped from Askiban and sent Longass into a frenzy, her dagger being located in the school will start raising suspicion of our plans.
Potter is already onto me. I noticed him following me the other day.
I need to be more careful, he's already suspicious of me.
I only work on the cabinet during the late hours of the night, when no one is around to see me.
The castle's quite lonely at night, it's quiet. I miss the background noise of Aurora and Serenity fighting. It helped me not get lost in my thoughts as I work. I haven't let her come with me to work on it. She'd only distract me with her tongue. Although it's been a week without her trying to sleep with me𑁋not that we've been able to have a moment alone𑁋it's a room filled with all sorts of things, plenty of old common room couches and dorm beds lying around.
It doesn't help that my grades have declined. Not that I care. Once the Dark Lord takes over again, grades won't do me much good. I need to stay focused but too much has gone wrong.

I said that already but that's besides the point...
If she doesn't wake up and does die, everything will go to hell.
Students will begin wondering what happened, how she died, and it will eventually lead back to my aunt's dagger and how the death eaters have risen.
It's no secret I'm related to her.
Anyone who's gone to Hogwarts knows Narcissa Black. The woman who married Lucius Malfoy continuing his Pure-Blood line. Her psychopathic sister Bellatrix Black who's a loyal Death Eater. As loyal as they come. And how they banished their sister for ruining their blood line.
Aurora's death will just prove the point Potter's been trying to make this whole time, that I am in fact a death eater, but not before exposing Aurora. If she dies the concealer spell on her mark will disappear and her entire family will be outed.
I can't let that happen. I'd be dealing with the consequences. My father would convince me it's my fault the Dark Lords plans were ruined.
On top of my tasks, I go to the library every night looking for a reverse curse on the poison the dagger was laced with. I need to move quickly. There's no telling how much time is left before it's run out and all is exposed.
