Anna's POV
I was on the phone with Burgess telling her everything that I could remember about the shooting and about Matthew Finlay. "I didn't know them all that well we only had a couple classes together, but Grayson, Beckett, and Finley were so close people sometimes mistook them for each other," I said. "Ok, so it is possible that Finley would willingly help Beckett or Grayson escape." She said. "Most likely." I said. "Do you have any idea how Finlay could have managed all of this." She asked. "No idea after what happened in school no one ever heard from him again." I said. "Thanks, Anna this information should be very helpful." She said as we hung up the phone. "You ok Anna?" Maggie asked. "Yeah, you look kind of pale." Haley said. "This whole thing has just brought up a bunch of stuff." I said as I took a seat continuing to feel the color Rush from my face. My stomach started to turn itself in nots so I excused myself to the bathroom.
Last time I started to feel like this they had to rush me to Med.Kim's POV
"Hey guys I just got off the phone with Anna and she just remembered a name Matthew Finley, apparently him Grayson and Beckett were so close that they could have been mistaken for being the same person." I said. "What made her think of this guy?" Atwater asked. "When Haley gave them the update on the case and what was found in Grayson's cell it triggered a memory about a conversation Anna overheard her mom and the D.A. have." I said. "Considering what the girls been through I'm surprised she could remember anything from that time." Ruzek said. "For once I agree with Ruzek." Halsted said. "Alright you heard the lady let's find this guy." Voight said. "I'll call our team and see if anyone can get ahold of Cpt. Benson and the A.D.A who handled the case." Zidan said. "Ok good idea, in the meantime I want the rest of us to track down every bit of information we can on these guys from the first breath they took to the last piece of gum that they bought." Voight said and we all got to work.Anna's POV
I was in the bathroom splashing water on my face trying to regain my composure. I stared into the mirror I lost myself in my thoughts, I was going over everything in my head why were they coming after me, why was I the one that was hiding, what was it about me that made them want to come after me. After a few minutes, I regained enough composure to go back out with Maggie and Haley. "Hey are you ok, you've been in there a while." Haley asked. "Ya I'm fine, I just needed a minute." I said. "Are you sure you're feeling ok, you look kind of pale." Maggie said. "I think that everything is starting to get to me." I said. "What do you mean?" Maggie asked. "I mean that I'm starting to feel like I did when I first came out of my coma and when I lost my birth parents." I said. "Hey, Anna you need to listen to me when I tell you that none of this is your fault." Haley said. "Ya, what is going through these guys' heads is all on them." Maggie said. "I just wish that there was something more I could do besides hide and play memory games." I said. "I know that this must feel like you have no control over your life and that everything is either falling apart or that things are happening around you but keeping you safe is the best way to get these guys." Maggie said. "Plus you aren't playing memory games these are tactics to help bring up memories that you may have put out of your mind to protect yourself." Haley said. I knew that they were right but I just couldn't help but wonder why this was happening and also wonder what hiding me was really helping.
