Chapter 21

Olivia's POV
I sat down in my chair and plopped my face into my hands. The stress is starting to get to me. I look over at the family photo of me, Anna, and Noah and find myself drifting into a peaceful daydream about the days when my children came into my life and into each other's. I was deep in thought when I was brought out by a knock on my door. "Everything ok, Liv?" Fin asked as him and Carisi walked into my office. "Well my daughter is in hiding because some psycho wants her dead, my son is afraid that he's going to lose his sister and I'm trying to hold it all together for them both but I am so scared that there's nothing I can do." I said. They both takes a seat in front of my desk "Hey listen to me no one is going to let anything happen to Anna, you and everyone on this case is putting in 110% effort, we will get these guys." Fin said. I let out a breath that felt like I was holding it in forever. "Did you just come in here just to give me a pep talk." I said. "No, we also came to tell you, we found something." Carisi said, gesturing for me to follow them.

Anna's POV
I was lying down staring at the ceiling, trying to calm my racing mind down, still seeing flashbacks of everything when Maggie walked in and asked if everything was OK. "I'm fine." I said. "You sure you know it's ok if you're not." She said. "I know that, but what good is it going to do anything or anyone if I say that I'm miserable and feel like my brain is playing games with me and like I'm losing my mind?" I asked. "It will do you some good." She said as she walked over and sat on the edge of the bed. "I can't even begin to understand what you must be feeling right now, but I know that keeping all your fears and emotions bottled up isn't going to do any good for you or anybody else." She said. "You'd make a good therapist if you ever want to retire from the F.B.I." I said. "Don't think that I have the patience to deal with patience." She said, causing both of us to laugh. Just then, Haley walked in and asked if we were having a party without her. "No, just Maggie adding therapist to her list of credits." I said, earning a slap on my knee from Maggie. It felt great being able to joke around with friends again. "Hey, I just wanted to thank you guys for not only protecting me but also putting up with my mood swings." I said. "Hey, there's no need to thank us." Haley said. "We all need a vacation after this is over." I said. "You get no argument from me." Maggie said. "Or me." Haley said.

Olivia's POV
Fin and I walked into the squad room, and Kat and Amanda shot up at the same time. "You both look like you have something to say." I said, looking between the both of them. "We have good news and bad news." Kat said. "The good news is that we may have a lead on someone who could lead us to Alex Beckett." Amanda said. "The bad news is that this guy isn't going to help without some type of deal." Kat said, pulling up a picture on the board. She pulled up the picture of someone that we put away a long time ago for stalking and hate crimes. "What makes you think that this guy will help us with anything, deal or no deal?" Fin asked. "I contacted the warden and he said that Beckett's former cellmate has been trying to get transferred to a prison closer to where his mom lives." Kat said. "Apparently she's sick and can't travel much do to her treatment schedule." Rollins said. "Ok so let's arrange a sit down with Mr. Lambert and see what he has to say." I said. "Alright I'll give the warden a call and try to git something arranged." Carisi said. "While Carisi is calling the warden I'll put in some calls and see what I can dig up on this guy and his mom." Fin said.

I walk over to the board and stare at the photos on it. I had hoped that I would not see my daughter's photo on this board ever again. Please let the information that Lambert gives us be useful to catch these guys. I thought to myself.
