Chapter 15

Gallo's POV
I had just gotten off the phone with Anna, I was dreading having to tell everyone what she told me and even more scared about possible having to talk to her mom. "Hey Gallo are you ok, you keep spacing off." Casey said. "Ya it's just that I have to tell everyone something and it's not something I really want to do." I said. "Your not leaving us are you?" He asked. "No no nothing like that Anna asked me to tell everyone she won't be around for a while." I said. "Why?" He asked. "I'll explain it when I tell everyone." I said. He didn't say anything he just nodded his head understanding why I didn't want to anything more than I have to. I took a few minutes to gather my thoughts then I went to break the news to everyone. I walked to the break room and got everyone's attention "Hey guys I need to talk to everyone." I said. "Everything ok Gallo?" Herrmann asked. I took a pause for a moment before I started talking "Ya I just got off the phone with Anna and she asked me to tell everyone that she will be on radio silence for a while." I said. "Why is she ok?" Brett asked concerned. "Ya they just want to put her in protective custody until they catch this guy." I said. The room had almost a scary silence to it no one knew what to do or say until the bell went off saying that there was a man down from unknown causes and needed an ambulance. Brett and Foster took of and just as they left Chief walked back in and said that I had a call. I knew who it was and I couldn't have been more scared for what was about to come. "You ok Gallo you look like you've just seen a ghost." Cruze said. "I'm fine, I just know who is on the other end of the call." I said. "Who is it?" Severide asked. "Ya who's got you so spooked." Ritter asked. "Anna's mom." I said. "You have every right to be afraid." Mouch said. I grunted and reluctantly dragged myself to the Chiefs office and answered the phone.
Gallo: Hello.
Olivia: Yes I'm Olivia Benson is this Blake Gallo?
Gallo: Yes this is.
Olivia: Hello Blake I assume that Anna has told you what is going on.
Gallo: Yes she has ma'am.
Olivia: Ok so how are you handling it?
Gallo: I'm doing ok I guess, how are you and Noah handling things?
Olivia: We are doing the best that we can. He keeps asking why he can't talk to his sister.
Gallo: Ya Anna said that they were really close.
Olivia: They might not be blood but they were definitely brother and sister.
Gallo: Maybe when this is all over we could all meet up and do something together.
Olivia: That sounds like a plan. Know on another note how long have you been seeing my daughter.
Gallo: *swallows hard* We have been seeing each other for a few weeks.
Olivia: Is this something you see continuing for the long run?
Gallo: Yes I do.
Olivia: I'm ok and happy with you seeing my daughter but if you hurt her you will regret ever hurting her. The phone when silent for a few seconds.
Olivia: Hello?
Gallo: Yes I'm still here, and believe me when I say that hurting Anna would be the last thing that I would ever do.
Olivia: Good to know. Listen I have to go but it was nice talking to you.
Gallo: It was nice talking to you as well, hopefully we can meet in person some time soon.
Olivia: Ya hopefully.
I hung up the phone and I was shaking like a leaf. "You ok man?" Casey asks walking up to the door. "Ya I just got off the phone with Anna's mom." I said. "Ya how did that go?" He asked. "If she's that scary over the phone I can only imagine how bad she is in person." I said causing Casey to chuckle slightly.
