Chapter 13

Anna's POV
Sergeant Voight has just brought me to the 21st and I was shaking like a Chihuahua in the winter. "Anna there is no reason to be afraid my team and I will keep you safe." He said trying to calm me. "In all honesty I'm not afraid of getting hurt or what he will do to me if he finds me, I'm afraid of going back to the way I was when I first came out of my coma scared to be left alone afraid of any sound or smell that made me flashback to that day, I don't want to go back, I can't go back." I said my voice cracking and the tears building in my eyes. "I can't promise that you aren't going to have any flashbacks but what I can promise you is that everyone at 51 and the 21st will be here for you." Voight said as we were getting out of the car. We walked up the steps to the precinct and I saw agents Bell and Zidan talking with Sergeant Plat.



"Agent Bell, Agent Zidan what are you guys doing here." I said a little confused and surprised. "Sargent Voight's team notified us when they got something." Agent Zidan said. "Plus we wanted to make sure you were doing ok." Agent Bell said as they both gave me a hug. "I don't mean to break up this moment but we do have a very pressing matter." Voight said as he assured us up to intelligence. As I walked into intelligence I could instantly feel a mix of anger, fear and determination when I saw his picture on the board. "Hey Anna you ok?" Maggie asked seeing me tense up a little. "Ya, all of a sudden I am hit with a mix of anger fear and wanting to catch this guy." I said to witch everyone flashed a small smile. "Alright then I guess we better get to work." Voight said as we all started coming up with a plan.
Gallo's POV
Chief just told everyone about Anna and I want to run out of here and be buy her side but I know that I can't do that. Ritter and I were getting lunch ready when my mind started to drift and I found myself thinking about what Anna was going through and feeling useless for not knowing what to do.



"Hey Gallo am I making this chili by myself?" Ritter asked with a hint of sarcasm. "Huh what sorry." I said as I started back on the chili. "Hey is everything ok?" He asked. "Ya yep, no I'm just worried about Anna and feeling completely useless not knowing what if any thing I can do." I said. "First off you don't need to know what to do she will tell you that all you have to do is let her know that you're there for her, second I'll finish up this chili you go text your girl." He said. "Thanks man you have no idea how much would you just did means to me." I said as I went to call Anna. I was in the briefing room about ready to make the call when Foster and Brett walked in. "Hey Gallo what are you doing?" Foster asked. "Trying to make a call to Anna but don't know what to say." I answered. "Can we give you some advice?" Brett asked. "Would it make a difference if I said no." I said. "Not really, look no one knows what to say in a situation like this." Foster said. "All you have to do is let her know how much you care about her and that you are here for whatever she needs." Brett said. Once they left the room I dialed Anna's number it rang a few times then went to voicemail
"Hey Anna it's Blake to be honest I don't know what to say here I am afraid for you, I'm worried about what's going on, I wish that I could be there for you to be able to keep you safe, but I know that Voight and his team are there with you, I guess what I want to say is I will give you all the space you need to handle this but if you want me to be there for you I am only one call away I will be here for whatever and whenever you need me."
