Chapter 10

Gallo's POV
Anna and I just kissed and it was amazing. "Wow." She said as we pulled apart. "Ya that was something." I said. "So what do we do now?" She asked. I was about to say something Just as Cruz and Herrmann came in and asked what we were doing. "Nothing I was just.." I was trying to think of something to say. "Gallo was just asking me if I could doggy sit Tuesday so him and Ritter could go to a boxing match on Saturday." She said. "Ok then." Herrmann said like he was suspicious. "Well come on we have a shift to start." Cruz said. We walked out of the conference room and went to get ready for shift. I was so confused about what just happened and where we would go from here. I pulled Ritter aside and told him about Anna and me, and that if anyone asked he's trying to find someone to doggy sit Tuesday for a boxing match Saturday. He just shock his head and said ok. We both got breakfast started and I keep running different scenarios through my head about what could go wrong. "Hey man what's up?" Ritter asked walking up behind me. "Anna and I kissed." I blurted out. "You did what." He said more as a statement of shock than a question. "Anna and I kissed and she feels the same way about me that I do about her." I said. "Great so when's your first date?" He asked. "I have no idea, before we even start talking about it Herrmann and Cruz came in." I said. "You need to talk to her dude." He said. I knew he was right but I have no idea when to ask her or what we should do if she were to say yes.
Anna's POV
After getting ready for shift I texted Gallo and asked if we could talk after shift about the kiss. I started day dreaming about what could happen (I haven't felt like this since high school)  "Hey what are you doing?" Foster asked as she walked up to me. "Nothing, why, what's up?" I said. "Nothing you just looked like you were spacing out a little." She said. "Oh it's nothing." I said. "Ok, well we be get to helping Brett set up the ambo." She said as she playfully started pushing my shoulder. "Ya last time she had to do that by herself we got stuck with supply runs for the rest of shift." I said as we left the locker room. Foster and I caught up with Brett and managed to avoid her rath. "So do you guys have any plans tonight?" Brett asked us. "Total free." Foster said. "Don't know yet, why." I said. "Because I got three tickets for the Brantley Gilbert concert." She said. "Oh I am totally in, I love his music." Foster said. "I'll have to get back to you." I said. "Ok just make it quick." Foster said. "Take the time you need." Brett said. Just then we got a call for a man down at Navy Pier. "Wonder what happened?" I asked. "Not as many as you would think." Brett said. The call wasn't that bad we got the guy un-stuck and to med with no complications. We pulled into the house and I was about to head to the ladies room when Gallo pulled me aside and asked if we could talk now. "Sure, what's up?" I said a little confused. "It's about the kiss." He said. "Ok. What about it?" I said. "Before Cruz and Herrmann came in you asked 'what do we do now?'." He said. "I remember." I said. "Well if it's ok with you I would like to take you out for a proper date tomorrow." He said. I was slightly stunned by what he said. "Is it ok?" He asked a little more scared. "Yes, I would love to go on a date with you." I said. He got a huge smile on his face and we were about to kiss when we heard someone coming so we pretended to be talking about something else.
