Chapter 20

Olivia's POV
I was in my office catching up on some paperwork when a call came in from a number that I did not recognize.
Olivia: Hello, this is Captain Benson.

Jubal: Yes, captain Benson, this is Agent Valentine.

Olivia: Yes, I remember, may I ask what this is regarding? I ask with slight fear in my voice.

Jubal: We just received a call from agent Zidan, and Anna might have given us a lead, but we need you and ADA Barba to come down to our office.

Olivia: I will get ahold of him, and we will be down there as soon as we can.
Once I got off the phone with agent Valentine, I immediately called Barba.

Barba: Hey, live what's up?

Olivia: Long story, but the short version is we need to get down to 26 fed it's about Anna.

Barba: Say no more, I'll meet you there.

We hung up. I texted Lucy to get Noah from school, and I raced down to 26 fed. It wasn't that long of a drive, but it felt like it was taking forever to get there. By the time I get there, Barba has already beaten me there.
"Hey, I got here as quick as I could. What's going on?" He said.
"I have no idea you, actually got here minutes before I did." I said as we walked into the building. Once we were inside, we were escorted to the main area where we were meant by Agent Valentine and his supervisor agent Castille. "Mrs. Benson, Mr. Barba, thank you for getting here so quickly." Agent Castille said. "You told Mrs. Benson, this was about her daughter." Barba said. "Yes, two of our agents are in Chicago helping Sergeant Voight and his team track down the people that are after her, and they managed to get a name." Agent Valentine said. "Do either of you recall the name, Matthew Finley?" Agent Castille asked. "Um, as far as I know of no." Barba said. "To be honest, no, I don't remember a lot of people or things from that time." I said. "Why did you ask us if we recalled the name?" Barba asked. "Anna said that she heard you two mention the name in connection to the school shooting." Agent Castille said. "I can't remember, but I'll go back over the case file and see what I can find." Barba said. "Ya and I can do the same on my end and see if any of my detectives remember anything." I said. "Ok, and in the meantime, we will run the name and see what we can find on him." Agent Valentine said. As Barba and I left the FBI, my mind started drifting. I couldn't stop myself from thinking about what happened and what has happened since. "Hey, everything ok, Liv?" Barba asked as we were walking back to our cars. "Huh ya, I'm fine, just thinking." I said. "About what, Anna is safe, The FBI, CPD not to mention you, your team, and my office are helping to find this guy." He said. "I know that, and I am completely appreciative of everything, But..." I was saying. "But you can't help worrying about her and what's happening." He said. "I think it's a mom thing." I said. "I'm pretty sure that it is. They don't call you guys mama bears for no reason." He said making me laugh slightly. "Ok so you head back to your office and see what you can find on what happened and I'll head back to mine and see what I can find and get Fin and everyone to do the same." I said. With that said we get into our cars and head back. As soon as I get back to the precinct I fill Fin in on everything that was going on and that I need him, Kat, and Amanda to go over everything from the time of the school shooting. "You got it Live, we looking for anything in particular?" He asked. "Anything that is remotely connected to Grayson, Beckett, and Finley and that could help us find them." I said. "You got it." He said as he left my office.
