Jungkook was sickeningly pale as he stared at your bleeding wound. "We have to do something quick. Keeping her uterus as it is and giving her oral antibiotics can be dangerous. She is more proven to have infections in her poor condition. We didn't evaluate the baby's strength very well which caused damaged to her inner walls. We knew this was happening the moment we saw her bleeding. But we thought it was mendable. Turns out, baby's nails and limbs are strong enough to poke around."

"Did it get punctured?"

"No, the damage is on the inside. We have to be quick. It's not safe to keep her exposed for so long."

"Then hysterectomy is the only way right?"

"Yes, is the only way. Her body has been too exhausted to mend by itself and fight infections. She was surviving on the meds given to her. The baby utilised everything up."

"If we remove it............ would it cause any other problems?"

"You are removing a part of her body, it can cause some damages. She might go into menopause quickly, she might get terrible pains. All her organs would be needed to be re-arranged again since there would be an empty space. There might be more, most importantly, this would be your only child."

"That's alright. She's more important. Would it be difficult for her even after recovery?"

"We can't make sure of that. But a hysterectomy is the safest option right now. She has already lost a lot of blood. We might have to inject her some or else she might go into shock."

"Fine, do whatever you need but keep both of them safe."

"That's our number one priority here." The assistant spoke through the intercom and soon, a nurse entered.

He stepped back and let them continue. Jungkook crouched down and closed his eyes anxiously waiting to meet his daughter.

"Jungkook?"

His eyes snapped open and he looked up to see a tiny little thing in the assistant's hands. The doctor motioned him to come near. Jungkook sprang to his feet trying to see properly through his blurry vision and quickly stumbled towards them. "Cut the cord, would you?"

He wiped his eyes as a pair of scissors were placed in his hand. Trying to focus his vision through the tears he managed to cut where the doctor directed and saw a few drops of blood flowing through it.

"W-Why isn't she c-crying? Nurse?" He called for her but she was already off with his child.

Jungkook was trying hard to see his child but the doctor handed her to the nurse while the assistant noted the time.

Jungkook followed the nurse to the inner room and saw her rubbing the baby's back with a soft cloth. "W-Why can't I hear her?"

"She's having difficulty in breathing. Wait for a few minutes." As he walked near, he noticed the purple tone of her skin due to the cord wrapped around her. She was tiny, extremely tiny as he saw the nurse placing a pump on her mouth to suck the amniotic fluid out. Her small tummy gently moved up and down as she performed the resuscitation.

Next was her small nose and she used a different pump to gently remove the vernix off.

The girl suddenly opened her small toothless mouth and her father heard a precious shrill.
