➳Chapter~32

"Well, you entered in time. We were just talking about prenatal care." Jungkook hummed smiling and sat besides you taking your palm in his warm ones. You look at his face for any signs of uneasiness or stress but find nothing. His hair were back to a side partition along with his visible glistening forehead. Jungkook's doe eyes hade the usual shade of coffee along with his soft pink lips.

"This is a list of do's and don'ts during pregnancy. You can go through it once you go home. Even though baby is quite in good shape, we should be very careful. This means the mother shouldn't experience any amount of stress both physically and mentally even in the earlier weeks of pregnancy. Loud noises should be avoided." The boy nodded signalling that he was following along.

"The moment you feel something wrong, you should immediately call here or visit in any case of emergency. The mother can do a few light exercises and go small for walks but don't tire yourself. When you experience spotting, visit the clinic immediately. Drink lots and lots of water for your amniotic fluid and eat green leafy vegetables. Include healthy amounts of protein in your diet and not anything too spicy."

She continued to advice further and instructed you to come back every month for your check-ups. Thanking the doctor, you both stepped out of the door.

A huge sigh was released from both the pairs of parting lips.

Without a word, you both got into the lift quickly descending downwards. Both of your lips were glued together not knowing what to say.

The last 2 hours were indeed surprising for both of you.

Once the door opened, the man silently held your wrist in his fingers and walked out towards the parking lot. The sky was a lot darker than before. He opened the car door and patiently waited for you to sit before making sure you wouldn't get hurt when the door closed. Jungkook started the car.

You look at his expressionless face. "Jungkook?" He hummed. "W-What's wrong? You aren't talking........"

"We will talk once we reach home. There's a lot of traffic here." You frown but nod looking back at the busy road. The constant beeps and horns of vehicles were too loud for you as you sweated in the air conditioned car. You squint your eyes as the cars flashed their taillights in your face as they passed by. Jungkook side-glanced you and fetched earbuds from his pockets. "Wear these."

He always used to keep those when he couldn't tolerate the noises around him.

You slowly took them looking at him with a confused expression while he turned up the air conditioner. The cool breeze now fanned over your face gently. Once you wear them, most of the noise was cancelled giving you some relief. He pulled the sun visor down and pressed a button which turned the transparent smart glass on your window into an opaque one.

"Close your eyes." He muttered and took your purse placing it on the backseat of the car. You hesitantly looked at him with your one opened eye to which he placed his hand on your face. "I said eyes."

You smile but slowly did obeying him. Jungkook gave you a quick glance before looking back in front and sighed. You hum quietly and change your position to make yourself more comfortable.

The taller nibbled on his lips glancing back at your stomach which gently moved up and down as you breathed. He looked at your small sleeping figure and smiled sadly before looking back at the road. Once he parked the car in the garage, jungkook silently took his seatbelt off and fetched the purse which laid in the back. He opened your door and took your seatbelt off. The taller carefully lifted your sleeping figure and shut the door.

With the code, jungkook opened the main door seeing you whine and turn to your side in his arms. You buried your face in his chest.

The man felt a flower bloom in his core.
