PETER AND JAMES WERE quick to make their way to the S.H.I.E.L.D base where they met up with everyone. Nick was now explaining the plan to the two. But James was too busy examining Quentin who he had an off feeling about. But after a moment he was back to focusing on Nick Fury.

"Parker? Parker!" Nick shouts grabbing the kid's attention. "That thing's going to be here in a few hours. Are we boring you?"

"He's not bored, he's just thinking about how you kidnapped him," Quentin says

Nick sighed. "He had obstacles. I removed them."

"They still won't evacuate the city," Maria announces turning towards them.

Nick groans. "Idiots. So what's the plan, Rogers?"

James shrugged warning an eye roll from Nick.

Peter cleared his throat. "I will be in the cathedral tower keeping watch for the fire monster. When that shows up, I will radio you guys, and then Mr. Beck James and I will—"

"My name is Mysterio." Quentin interrupts

Quentin shoots Peter a playful look. Peter chuckles under his breath. James on the other hand didn't find it funny.

"That's when Mysterio and us will move in." Peter continues

Quentin walks towards the kid. "Peter, listen to me. The best hope you have -- the only hope -- is to stop it here and now, no matter what the cost. Keep it away from civilians if you can, but, most importantly, keep it away from metal. If it gets too big, it'll be able to draw power from the Earth's core. After that, there's no way to stop it."

Peter briefly shares a glance with Fury. "Hey, man, my friends are here And I can't help but think we're putting them in danger—"

Fury stands up and walks over to Peter. "You're worried about us hurting your friends? You? Who called a drone strike on your own school tour bus? Stark gave you a multi-billion dollar AR tactical intelligence system and the first thing you do with it? Is try and blow up your friends. It's clear to me that you were not ready for this!"

"Hey, cut him some slack," James says jumping into the conversation.

Quinten sighs. "Rogers, maybe he's right—"

"No one is talking to you, Beck," James says before turning towards Fury. "Who even is this dude? And why do we suddenly trust him? What I was gone for a month and you recruit some random man who claims he's some air bender?"

Nick scoffed. "He was here to help. Where were you?"

"Wh-Where was I? Fury, I was trapped in a hex by my own wife! Who might I add erased my memories as well!" James shouts. "I-I had to fight a version of Vision that I didn't even know. I had to deal with S.W.O.R.D. and what remained of Hydra, Who supposedly kidnapped me as well and tried turning me into the 2nd Winter Soldier. So where were you!?"

Everyone seemed to have been taken off guard by the response.

"So I'm sorry for wanting a break from this crazy heroic world." James continues. "But these past two months showed me that not all hero's get to make it out alive. Yes, It has been my lifelong dream to be my mother and father. I may have the shield, but I am not Captain America. So stop trying to treat me like him." he says before walking out the building and back to the hotel.

Peter stands there before shaking his head in disappointment at Fury before walking back to the hotel. Once they walked in they had been greeted with terrible news.

Mr. Harrington smiled. "Good news. We're going to the opera!" he says noticing the two who had walked into the building.

Students, except for Peter, are confused and a bit upset. Their response is simultaneous and varying.

"The opera?"

"What?"

"You're kidding me."

"Why?"

Mr. Dell shrugged. "Don't look at me."

MJ huffed. "What happened to the carnival?"

"Oh, this is upgrade living, guys." Mr. Harrington smiled.

Ned looks back at Peter. Peter, with his widened eyes and slow nodding, gestures to Ned that this was his doing.

Mr. Harrington sighs. "Come on. The tour company just gave us these tickets. For free! Do you have any idea how much opera tickets cost?"

Flash scoffs. "No, because none of us have ever wanted to go to the opera, ever."

Ned cleared his throat. "Uh... well I think this is gonna be culturally enriching for us."

Mr. Harrington points at Ned. "Thank you, Ned. Everyone, this is gonna be, maybe, the best four hours of our whole trip."

All students, except Peter and Ned's eyes, widened. "Four hours?"

"Guys, I think this is gonna be really fun. Seriously."

The class was now walking through the streets of Prague, with Mr. Harrington leading the group. The whole class is dressed in formal attire, heading toward the opera theatre. There are fireworks in the sky and a huge crowd of people in costumes walking around.

"I heard you snapped at Fury," Wanda says breaking the silence. "What happened?"

"I-I'm not even sure myself," James admits letting out a heavy sigh.

"You're still mad at me about the hex, aren't you?"

James stilled. "You heard about that?"

Wanda slowly nods.

The man runs his hand through his hair letting out a sigh. "I don't know how I'm feeling right now, Maximoff. I mean everything is happening so quickly. I mean what? Just the other week I was talking to my parents about life, then mom dies saving Clint, Dad stays back in time to grow old with some woman, two weeks ago we had kids, and then I find out it was all a lie, and about a day later I had to say goodbye to them all."

"You weren't the only one who went through that—"

"You're right. I wasn't, Wanda." James nods. "You put us through that. You did that. And I had to deal with the consequences because I love you. And loving you did nothing but hurt me."

Wanda's eyes widened. "Y-You don't mean that."

"Maybe I don't, maybe I do. I'm not sure about anything anymore." James says letting out a shaky breath. "I-I don't know who I am. Or why I'm even here. I don't know why it hurts losing kids that were only around for three days. But what I do know is that I can't do this anymore."

"Do what?"

"Be the man who acts like everything is okay. Be compared to my parents." James says, tears forming in his eyes. "I'm sorry, but I-I can't." right before walking into the theatre room.

As he walks into the building James bumps into Peter. "Woah! What's wrong?" he asks.

James cleared his throat. "We've got to go, Kid. Let's go."

Looks like happy ending weren't for him and Wanda after all.
