ONE THING ABOUT BOTH James and Bucky was that they were both similar in several ways when it came to feelings. It was something they rarely enjoyed speaking of. So it was truly a surprise when James and Bucky both opened up to one another. They understood the pain they felt. Bucky wanted to do whatever he could to be there for James as an adult figure since Steve was gone. He wanted to be there for the little things. Especially with what's happening now.

James and Bucky were both sitting in front of the TV as they waited for the new Captain America to show himself to the world.

"What if we just go kill him," James suggests as he props himself on the floor.

Bucky hums. "I like that idea. But I don't think the world will."

"Worth a try." James huffs.

Through the football field on the Tv came "Captain America" who said hi to everyone before walking to the middle of the field.

"Ladies and gentlemen... your new Captain America!"

The crowd cheers.

Captain America smiles. "Good morning, America."

Bucky scoffs. "You could've said that better."

"Right." James huffs.

"Thank you so much for coming." The lady on the tv says. "This has gotta be fun, though, coming back to your high school after so much has changed."

John chuckles. "Oh, it's great—oh!" he pauses as he listens to the cheering.

"John, I think the first thing everyone wants to know is what is it like being Captain America? Do eagles fly overhead wherever you go?"

"Uh, yes." John laughs. "Yeah, that and flags tend to start majestically waving in the wind."

"And how's the tour been? I know they did a big rollout for you, right?"

"Um, but I'm just a little shocked, I think. How did a guy like me end up here—"

"Oh, wait, wait, wait. "A guy like me?" Somebody's being a little too humble." The reporter states. "For those of you who aren't familiar with John's résumé, "John Walker, the first person in American history to receive three Medals of Honor, ran RS-One missions in counterterrorism and hostage rescue. The government did a study of your body at MIT, and you tested off the charts in every measure or category. Speed, endurance, intelligence—"
